Single... and not interested. I have too much going on with my life for me to focus any of my energy on "looking for someone", and my life is such that bringing someone else into it would be a detriment, rather than a plus.

I see what you mean. That just about sums up my situation in less words than I wrote. "Not interested" could be the way I feel, however I am also open to the possibility of dating later on, but yeah, for now I'm not really interested, as I've got plenty of things to worry about; a girlfriend is only another.

I answered dating long term, but maybe my answer would have been best as dating other. My situation is odd. We began dating 2/14/10, broke up 7/5/10 and stayed super close friends from then until 3/19/11, when we started dating again. Our friends would say we never broke up in the first place, just distanced ourselves a bit, but we technically did. If you count the months all together, we've been dating for 8 months, but if you count like our friends do, we've been dating for 16 1/2 months. Not sure how much longer we'll date before we make the next step toward marriage(he's got to pop the question first...lol), but for now, that seems a long way off, though I'd be perfectly happy if he asked me today. It would be a bit hard to do, since we're 43 hours apart, but it could happen. Gotta love technology these days.

I'm still single at 22, and I have never dated either. Like I posted in the other thread about Christians being unmarried, I believe that this is something I can manage, if not for a lifetime, for quite some time. However, I feel loneliness and even jealously beginning to set in; jealously being derived from seeing other couples (whether married or dating). I suppose it's natural, but I realize that it's wrong. I should be glad and enjoy this part of my life while I still can, in the event that I may marry.

I'm 26 and always single. I pray not forever, as I do feel lonely sometimes and would love to have someone to share life / my faith with, and God-willing a family.

Nice, it's way nicer even doing the laundry and cleaning up and everything when you know that someone else will be enjoying the results as well LOL. And with a bigger apartment I found a passion for decorating and all! Well that's not the best of it though but an unexpected outcome.. I think it's best that we actually can live together and don't need to make as much extra time for seeing each other. And that there's someone to come home to and to share your whole life with.

We got married on New years eve, it was a nice wedding - a little cool, some snow falling (none on the ground yet) and around 100 guests, lots of food, music, etc. He's two years older then me (one and a half actually) and he's got a licence to be a sport masseur (i'll never have a sore back again!!), but he started studying again because he didn't want to do make a career in massaging lol. Now he'll be a deacon as well. He's been a christian for four years now, he's an oncredible person and I bet you'd like him as well if you met him!
