He had Appendicitis and the doctors missed it. There is NO EXCUSE for that. Science is the one to be accused here. Maybe they made enough money to pay his hospital bill to clean up the stinking mass the doctor made out of the situation.

Why? As far as I see it was a human error on the part of the doctor. Science had nothing to do with that.

Maybe they should have gone to a competant doctor. YOU PRAY WHEN THE DOCTOR GIVES UP ON YOU. We have VERY good results praying for people AFTER the doctor has done all he can for you. BUT it is a very good idea to pray for God's protection FROM the doctor sense doctors are the number one cause of death in America. Follow by Cancer and Heart Disease.

Cancer responds very well to prayer. Heart disease not as much. I did just have a doctor that wanted to do surgery on me for Cancer and I decided to pray about it instead and it is clear up now. So I do not plan to go back to the doctor. What is he going to do, cut on a scar of where it use to be and guess at where it would have been if I did not pray?

So out of the three leading cause of death two of them respond very well to prayer. With stints actually the doctors do have a pretty quick and easy cure for heart disease now.

It's grasping at straws, sadly, when people will try anything to disredit science, including blaming science when things go wrong (looks at you, AV). I think the train of thought is, if I show how bad science is, people will look toward god. But, I'm not buying that either.

Really? I'm not aware of those studies. Please provide.

Perhaps you should take a step back and examine the hypocrisy of you condemning science while using the internet on a computer I doubt was built using purely religious principles from the Book of Microprocessors (Chapter 3, Verse 17)

We are not talking about religion, we are talking about relationship with God and prayer. But we can talk about religion if you want.

Lots of them, but for every study I can find showing prayer to be effective. You will find one that say it has no effect. Because you have to know how to pray. Even in the Lord's prayer, Jesus teaches us how to pray.

Yea, and there's another glaring and important difference between science and religion:

Religion is more often than not completely static, stagnant.

When science is wrong, it corrects itself.

That's kinda a big deal.

And all he has to do for me to achieve that is to walk through my door, right now. Seeing as he's omnipotent and omniscient, it should be not just possible, it should take him literally no effort at all. He doesn't even have to do anything, just walk in my door in the next 20 seconds.

And if he doesn't, I guess I'm going to Hell. If I try really hard, I might get to be one of Satan's lieutenants. How fun does that sound?!

If you think doctors are the number one cause of death in the world, then I hope you don't ever visit your doctor, lest you be a hypocrite. Next time you get a chest pain, or have trouble breathing, be sure to pray it away.

Next time you want to go on a road trip to visit your family, try praying yourself there, or just walking, instead of taking a plane or driving.

Next time you want to put the blame on a mere method of understanding the universe, instead of your ordinary imperfect human, just scream it out your front door instead of logging onto the internet or calling someone on the phone, lest you be a hypocrite.

Lastly, I think if you really want to look at the statistics and play the number game between which were the cause of the most deaths and the saving of the most lives between science and religion, you'd be thoroughly surprised. I mean, I wouldn't, but apparently you would.

That is your experance not mine. I have been to churchs that it feels like the roof is going to blow right off the church. Because the angels are so excited to see what God is doing.

The only thing your telling me is your experance is with a dead, harlot, apostate church and not the true Living Church of Christ. You need a demonstration of the Power of God. Not fanaticism but the true power of God that is going to resurrect the church.

If you do not have the resurrection power of God working in you and in your life now. Then I suppose that is all you know is a dead church.

This is ad hoc theology. You know good and well Jesus taught of an imminent return, and Paul attested to this as well.
