No, no. Misunderstood.
In Christianity, one believes in Jesus "finds" value. The value is being with God. I am not more valuable than I was before I believe. The value is from God. I find value does not mean I "have" the value.
That seems somewhat unfair to both Christians and non-Christians in my opinion, however, that would still mean that a Christian still contains more value than a non-Christians; it just means that YHWH gives humans more value.
I prefer to think of all souls as equal just as the Awakened One did.
Yes, every HUMAN life is invaluable (but not animal life).
Who says? Why should ''animal'' life be less valuable than human life? As a Buddhist I must reject that notion.
But if no God, human life would not be valuable at all (think about one dumped with others in a massive grave).
Ah but which ''God''? YHWH is not the only god in the universe though Christians like to think he is. Still I accept that you are a believer in YHWH and thus you can only speak as a believer.
I just want to point out that the term ''God'' isn't Christian but Germanic heathen; ''God'' as a singular was used by English heathens as a term for Woden and the plural ''Godas'' or ''Gods'' in modern English was used to refer to all deities.
I would say that if I were an atheist, I would kill one hundred in order to get the one I want among them. This is a very logic consideration.
Then it is a good thing that you are not an atheist! Most atheists, like most humans, value life. Infact atheist don't usually believe in the afterlife and thus for them, life in this world is the only reality and thus believe that when you distinguish a life, it is gone forever. Logically atheists should not kill and a great deal of them don't for the reason I have stated.
