Nonono, I created him a few weeks ago, without embedded age, because that would Omphalos. What actually happens is that he's existed for 53 years, but he's a few weeks old, or, wait, what, oh my goodness my head's exploded.

But I'm telling you - this stuff's so simple I can indoctrinate a young female relative of mine with it!

Now, since I didn't see you make a statement as to the point of this exercise I'll take a guess. Basically, you think without video evidence or being able to view it ourselves in real time that evolutionary theory is bogus. Am I right? I know I am.

The problem with your analogy, as peteos pointed out, is that there are many more evidences to back the theory up as opposed to you creating an apple out of thin air. All you have for evidence is my claim and the apple. Evolutionary theory has DNA, fossils, actual observations of small changes, etc... All of these form small parts of an overall scheme. Without something similar in an analogy your's will always come up short.

Actually I think his argument is more along the lines why there's no evidence for creation as described in the Bible outside of the explanation in bible itself.

Well first I would examine whether you did such a thing before I worried about my friend. I wouldn't trust my own perception of what occurred. I know how apples are formed, and know they cannot be formed out of thin air by apes (men), so I would have to assume it was a trick and/or that I was insane and/or that I took some form of drugs before you showed this to me. Assuming you could actually do such a thing for real, I would have you examined by scientists (but I would likely be taken to an insane asylum first). I don't get what this is an attempt to analogize to.

1. People won't answer a simple analogy without adding to, or changing it.
2. Not everything that happens can be evidenced.

In addition, I don't feel obligated to reply to any post, posted by someone who doesn't answer my question first - (as I asked it).

The question stands as I asked it, and if you can't answer it (or don't want to), fine --- admit it --- but don't try to make the person who asked it look bad.
