  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know this isn't exactly WWJD based but I just figured I'd tell you all because I think that it will help me draw closer to God.
I think it is!
Jesus was always listening to His Father.
Anything that helps us do that more has got to be a blessing!

I keep stumbling but God stays with me and keeps picking me up out out of the mud.

Isn't He wonderful!!!!

Thanks GM. (I can call you that right? Do you mind?)
Tsk :) Course I don't mind.

Are you talking about sermonindex? It's fantastic for that sort of thing. It has literally hundreds of thousands  It has a few Jackie Pullinger ones, too.

Have taken to listening to the bible on CD when I drive n stuff. It's actually really lovely, having your spirit fed as you're just going about daily life :) Go'd in everything we do if we let Him. It's wonderful.

I've been to sermonindex, but I like sermonaudio.com. I haven't looked around much at sermonindex though. BTW, who's Jackie Pullinger?

Hey guys, I've been checking out FaithfulServant's club (Seek the lost Ministry) and it looks like something that could be very profitable for the Kingdom of God. If you guys (or girls) get a chance, you should check it out. I think if we all went out and took every opportunity we got to witness to people, we would make a great impact on the world. I'm not saying that you have to check it out I'm just suggesting it. Just ask "What would Jesus Do?" and do it.

Hello everyone, I'm Faithful Servant. I'd like to extend a personal invitation to each of you to join my club, Seek The Lost Ministry. What I do in this club is help teach the evangelism methods of the Way of the Master. I've also opened up this club on other Christian sites, as well. My online ministry is quite small still, but I'm faithful with what the Lord has given me thus far. I have evangelism videos available for view, including episodes of the WOTM on my personal homepage. I do hope you will join. If you have any questions, please contact me. Thank you and God bless each of you.

Hmm... well, firstly, welcome! Is lovely to have you here :)

Am reluctant to emulate Ray Comfort's methods, to be honest. I guess he's fairly extreme in terms of "hellfire" evangelism. Having said that, Kirk Cameron's methods are lovely. But I pray your ministry is successful beyond your wildest dreams  God bless you for having a heart for the lost

Eldaah, I wrote an article on [wiki]Jackie Pullinger[/wiki] for CF wiki. She's an amazing, passionate, indescribably successful missionary - you'd get a lot from her, actually. Particularly given what you want to go into

Christian. . . .

When was the last time you shared your faith with a person whose unsaved?

What did you say? Did you talk about Judgment Day, sin or Hell?

Do you have unsaved loved ones, friends, co-workers or neighbors who have yet come to the Savior?

Do you know what the Bible says will be their eternal destination if they die without the Savior?

What will happen to them after they die? Does that concern you?

Do you realize that The Great Commission is a commandment, and not a suggestion?

What are you doing to help fulfill The Great Commission?

Are you becoming less so that Jesus can become more?

Christian. . . .

When was the last time you shared your faith with a person whose unsaved?

Yesterday

What did you say? Did you talk about Judgment Day, sin or Hell?

I talked with someone online about their eternal destination if they died without Christ.

Yes, I did talk about Judgment Day, sin and Hell, using the evangelism methods taught by the WOTM.

They responded that they would think about what I said to them.

Do you have unsaved loved ones, friends, co-workers or neighbors who have yet come to the Savior?

Yes, I do.

Do you know what the Bible says will be their eternal destination if they die without the Savior?

Yes, I know what the Bible teaches about the fate of the lost.

What will happen to them after they die? Does that concern you?

After they die, they will face God's Judgment and be condemned to hell because their sins have not been forgiven in Christ.

Yes, that greatly grieves me and compels me to continue to preach and witness to those who are lost, not just to my unsaved loved ones, friends or neighbors.

Do you realize that The Great Commission is a commandment, and not a suggestion?

Very much so, yes.

What are you doing to help fulfill The Great Commission?

I have an online ministry called Seek The Lost Ministry. The web is an excellent evangelism tool that helps me to reach the unsaved from across the country or across the world. I also share my faith and the message of the Gospel whenever the opportunity arises.

Are you becoming less so that Jesus can become more?

That is my sincerest prayer that through all of my words and deeds that the Lord Jesus be glorified.

A few days ago, with a friend. Yes, we did talk about sin and judgement.

Yes, I do, and it concerns me greatly!

Yes, I do, and I am trying, through Him, to be a faithful witness to those around me. Often I miss opportunities to tell people about Him, but He always forgives me and gives me another!
He is faithful!

Yes, slowly! This is my first prayer every morning, and though I trip up, He is infinitely patient, and is getting me there!

As I said, I think that what you are doing is wonderful.
And I do want to witness more and more!
I suppose there is a difference i the way we do i, as we are all different people, and effective for him in different ways! Whilst I would always make sure that a person knew the consequences of their sin, I tend to focus more on God's love and on the cross. I became a Christian as a response to the incredible love of the One who died for me, so I suppose that is what i want to show others.
But we preach the same Lord, the same gospel, and God will use us both for His glory!
I will pray for your ministry,
God bless you.

I'm sorry GM, but I don't think I'd get anything from her. I don't believe that women should be pastors or missionaries or in any position like that.

Although I do believe that this is a worthy cause and I do believe that people should do stuff like this, I would just ask that you don't flood this club with things about your club or WOTM. I do think that these are worthy causes, but I think an invitation to your club would suffice. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just trying to keep this thread about doing what Jesus would do and keeping your thread about all this stuff. These two are closely related, but I would just prefer it if people could come to your club for this type of thing and the WWJD club for talking about WWJD and how it changes lives. I'm sorry if this seems a little mean.

As I said, I do think people should be reaching out to the lost, and I do think that it is intertwined with doing what Jesus would do. I'm fine with you talking about it in here, just please don't make this thread solely about that. Alright?

I really want to become closer to God and really feel that taking this pleadge will help me do this.
