My husband was balding, so after trying a bunch of things (the long hair in back hippy look, the Hair Club for Men weave look), he just shaved it Bruce Willis short.
He definitely complains about the cold more now. And when it rains, he says it's almost painful, because he can feel every drop. So now we have a collection of hats, skullcaps and such for him.
As for grey, I am only now beginning to notice a little silvery glint. My hair was tow-blonde as a child, and only darkened once I was a teenager. My sister has always had dark hair, and her grey showed up much earlier and much more prominently than mine.
No idea if I'll dye it. Probably eventually. Don't need to yet.
There isn't anything wrong with hair color, nor not coloring. Its the inner beauty thats the most important. The older I get the more realize that. Also makes a good excuse for why I don't have to lose weight
