  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My husband was balding, so after trying a bunch of things (the long hair in back hippy look, the Hair Club for Men weave look), he just shaved it Bruce Willis short.

He definitely complains about the cold more now. And when it rains, he says it's almost painful, because he can feel every drop. So now we have a collection of hats, skullcaps and such for him.

As for grey, I am only now beginning to notice a little silvery glint. My hair was tow-blonde as a child, and only darkened once I was a teenager. My sister has always had dark hair, and her grey showed up much earlier and much more prominently than mine.

No idea if I'll dye it. Probably eventually. Don't need to yet.

There isn't anything wrong with hair color, nor not coloring. Its the inner beauty thats the most important. The older I get the more realize that. Also makes a good excuse for why I don't have to lose weight :D

As long as it's not detrimental to your health, you mean? ;)

Staying active and on a nutritious diet is more important than reaching an ideal weight....that's MY story and I'm sticking to it! ^_^

Let's see...

My hair is graying... at 44.
Thinning on top too.

I don't like sauerkraut.
Not to crazy about cabbage, which is a toughy being in a Slovak congregation with all that halupki and halushki. (I can stomach the halupki, though!:D )

Perogi's are my favorite Slovak delicacy.

Keep it long as long as you can!!

I finally had to cut mine because it was so thick and heavy it gave me headaches - it got a little more than half way down my back by then. I'm trying to grow it now, but every stylist I go to keeps wanting to layer it to death, so for me to grow it, I just have stop going to get it cut.
I don't like my hair too long . . .and I don't like it too short. I never like it any shorter than about an inch above my shoulders (shoulder length is my best, I think, but I like getting it cut that inch above).

I like my long hair at times, but it's so much hassle and often times it is very hot in Louisiana. . though it can be fun at times. However, I just tend to keep it tied back when long, too. . .it's right above my behind at the moment. . .which is quite long for me. . .

I never used to get my hair cut when I was younger. I had always liked it long.

As for all this talk of dying hair, my mom says that when she goes gray, if she's going to dye her hair, she's going to dye it bright blue so she can say to people, "What, I'm just a little ol' blue-haired lady!"

We love it!
