CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good night folks! Still got to make my bed since with all the rewiring going on the past few days I could have probably made a statue of myself with all the plaster all over my bedroom. Major cleaning coming up tomorrow. And I finally now have my book shelves so I can unpack 1/3 of all the boxes we have left which is just books, books, books.

Brrrr, I just got my hair cut and wow, I had not been so short for years. The hairdresser would not hear my protests, seems she was bit deaf and a bit fascist.

I just heard on FoxNews that that piece of blankety-blank, Fred Phelps, and his horrible family, are going to picket the funerals of those little Amish girls murdered by that pervert. 
Not because of ANYTHING to do with this case, it's all just to get revenge on the governor of Pennsylvania and get attention, too.
I've heard that the parents of the dead girls have already forgiven the evil murderer who killed their daughters. Maybe they can teach Phelps a thing or two about forgiveness.

I heard that too, Matrona. It's absolutely horrible. If I lived anywhere nearby, I would start a movement to make a human chain around the area of the funeral to keep him far, far away.

Phelps makes me so angry, even though I know it's playing right into his hands. Luckily, there are plenty of "English" up there who are protective of the Amish, and they are going to do all they can to make sure this guy doesn't get anywhere near the funerals.

I hope the bikers will take the opportunity to form a chain there too... might be a little odd but who knows. PA just needs to pass the same law as Maryland did, about funeral peace (aka they can't be there at the time of the funeral, have to leave a certain amount of time before and not come back til a certain time after. I think even Sweden denied him entry or something because of his views. I think one of the most despicable location to protest something is a funeral... this being children makes it even worse.

I was feeling so much better until I took the trash out and I'm back to being useless. At least the weather is incredible!! If only the plumber would come so I can run some errands. I got Kevin a bunch of tools for our anniversary (I think it's kinda funny, if women would get appliances for their anniversary it would be a no-no, but guys are excited about getting tools). Sears is running a good sale right now if someone is in need of tools. I also got him a shop-vac that also works as a blower and I'm going to attach a card to that one that it will come with a shed. We have this old cruddy shed outside but I want to replace it with a nice one and put electric, work bench etc for him there.

Thank you to whoever got me the cane. I'll need it at this rate. Have a feeling I have to break down and find myself a doctor soon and just hope I haven't herniated a disc - but I actually think it's my hip in a combination with the discs (I've got all kind of messed up bones but it's never been this bad). I just don't want some super drugs to try to kill the pain. Yes, whine, whine but timing just isn't any good with having to get a lot of things done and hubs being gone.
