Got dress rehearsal tonight - we're performing Carmina Burana.
The first concert is only choir though...we don't get cool costumes until next week.

I have a lot of hot peppers myself too. The tomatoes didn't do well with TS Ernesto blowing through so I need to go to the farmers market at some point. If there is some specific salsa you really like, search for the name and recipe and sometimes you can find something similar.

LOL! I remember when I was an exchange here now 13 years ago and the first night I was here there was two helicopters with searchlights circling the neighborhood. Wheeeee...
No Gordon Biersch this week, but Monday we're going to Ruth's Chris on Monday for our anniversary... GEEESH, it's been a year already. (well, we'll go on Tuesday if hubs has to run on Tuesday morning).

At this point, the interviews are done and I'm just waiting to see if I get any more offers (I have one, but I don't want to take it).
The best way I can describe it is this: It's like waiting for Christmas, and you think you have a pretty good shot at getting some really amazingly cool stuff, but you also know there is a substantial chance that there will be coal in your stocking.
And you don't know when Christmas is, so every day you check your stocking, wondering if today is the day.
It totally and utterly bites.

My mom struggles with sciatica, too, so I understand that it can be rough.
Can you believe I have STILL not gone to Gordon Biersch? BUT... my son is camping with the scouts this Friday, so I might get the chance to do dinner there.

It was pretty creepy! They circled the neighborhood until around 3am. I stepped out back to see if I could tell which direction they were spotlighting (and to check to make sure I had no more dead varmints floating around in my pool). They'd come close, then swing out. Hope they found what they were looking for.

We usually get the news helicopters hovering right over our house, when there is an accident or traffic on the Whitestone Bridge (It's very close to my house)

Wow! I just had over 6 inches off my hair. My heads feels so much lighter! I hope husband likes it, but he's in Chicago for a few days, I have to wait.
