CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I haven't cut my hair for five years.LOL, with most men it's not a matter of whether they like it or not, but whether or not they notice.
I have very long hair. I've thought about cutting it, but I'd like to fulfill my lifelong dream of having it grow down to my waist first.

I DID trim 3 inches off last year....As a former hairstylist, I have two words for you . . . Split ends :o . A trim will remove the dead ends and your hair will grow faster. Trust me.

yeah, yeah, as a former hairstylist, I KNOW this but don't practice it. It's hard for me to give up the scissors and let someone else cut my hair. I get mine cut once a year, usually about 6inches every time. This time, I almost cut if all off . The haridresser convinced me that I would be upset tomorrow if I cut it all short.

Don, we had our wedding reception at Ruth's Chris in Baltimore so I think we don't have to think where to go for our anniversary (although it's a bit sad that I have to make the reservations LOL). Then we go to the Melting Pot for Valentine's day or Birthdays (although we never go on Valentine's day because of all the crowds and cruddy expensive special menus - and this coming year Kevin won't be home anyway).
But to save some money and not eat at R&C too often, we now order same grade meat online. Kevin is a killer at the grill so it's good. You will have to come over sometimes for some steaks!
Man, I'll have to come and drag you to GB soon!!! I've been eating hotdogs for lunch since Kevin left (good dog place in Ocean View) and then whatever for dinner (I had popcorn and pears last night).
Fortunately my sciatica is better. I guess the vertebrae clicked back and I've been digging outside and planting some other plants. I have to move two big azaleas by Sunday... fortunately the weather looks fantastic for the next few days. It was packed up at the Ocean View beaches today.
OK, now to figure out what to make for dinner... tomorrow the plumber comes and taps off the gas so I can install my super cool electric glasstop stove. I hate gas with a passion and having this gas stove just hasn't converted me.

As long as you don't take your steak well done... Honestly, when things calm down a bit around here (HVAC done and Kevin comes back from all his stuff) we need to meet up.
Right now I'm just gathering strenght to call Home Depot tomorrow or Thursday and be a mean nasty person as my deck is already not doing too well. GRRRR! Even my electricians thought it was a shoddy job.

I have a bathroom in desperate need of a facelift here... I'm half tempted to call BathFitters and let them take care of it for me. I can never seem to find the time to actually rip out a tub and a tile enclosure, and install everything new myself.

What gives here? I was able to put down the Rooh and put the grill away for awhile, pick up a prayer rope, but when it came time for me to equip a background, CF quickly took the blessings to purchase an Orthodox Church background, but when I went to equip the background item, it said I have to unequip a background first.

You need to unequip 1 special item, as you can only have 2 in addition to a background. Then you should be able to equip a background.

OK, OK, OK. I finally got it, but I had to unequip my little prayer rope before I could get into the church. Then I could take the prayer rope back.
Now it all seems wrong to me. A hat ON indoors, and flip-flops at church. (But I love the hat!)
