  • NO, RICHARD DAWKINS HAS PUT FORWARD BETTER IDEAS RELATED TO THE CYCLIC MODEL THAN ANYBODY!

For the record I also admit that The Anthropic Principle that was made a part of our culture by chapter thirteen of "Stephen Hawking's Universe" is scary and intimidating so if Richard Dawkins Ph. D. finds this general idea kind of scary I do not blame him at all.

"It is my belief that Richard Dawkins Ph. D. is somewhat scared or perhaps intimidated by "The Anthropic Principle" that was turned into a part of our modern culture by chapter thirteen of "Stephen Hawking's Universe."

I have written quite a bit on that topic myself and I admit that I also find The Anthropic Principle to be scary and intimidating but also I see a glimmer of light within the probable or at least possible implications?"

Vatican turns to ‘hot priests’ to spread faith

Social media seen as means to ensure survival of a church suffering from declining numbers

Father Cosimo Schena says his church's attendance has doubled since he started using Facebook and TikTok

Father Cosimo Schena says his church’s attendance has doubled since he started using Facebook and TikTok

If it weren’t for the dog collar, the robes and occasional background of a church, one would be forgiven for thinking, judging by his Instagram profile, that Father Ambrogio Mazzai was a fitness influencer rather than a man of faith.

Pictures of him playing the guitar or biking in the mountains have animated a following who are presumably just as interested in the good word as they are in his good looks.

“What a beautiful guy our Father is!” wrote one follower on Father Mazzai’s account. “You are very beautiful and very elegant!” said another.

While some puritans might sniff at the idea that religion needs to be made cool to have modern appeal, a group of priests including Father Mazzai are using social media to make a powerful case to the contrary.

He shares photos and videos with his 460,000 followers on TikTok and Instagram almost every day and counts Matteo Salvini, Italy’s deputy prime minister, among his fans.

If this theory is true then the technical term for this may be "Neo-Malthusian Economic Philosophy."

I now need to give you a quotation from Dr. Kevin Zadai Th. D. who reports having a brush with death back in 1992. Jesus explained some astonishing mysteries to Dr. Zadai with a clarity and a simplicity that leaves me somewhat in awe.

I do believe that we are living in a time period when Isaiah chapter forty five verses one to thirteen are being fulfilled somehow and every Christian can pray about this and become more well informed on how this may relate to the history of Canada and the USA. [I believe that my Canadian ancestors are ashamed of how ignorant that they were during the years 1750 to 1776 because if they had known the truth they would have tended to support the American Revolutionaries in their desire to be independent from the Monarchy in England].

... "Jesus said that this unbelieving world is not going to accept you, but He said, “Do not fear, for I have overcome the world.” What is it that is bothering you today? You might not think that you have access to the Father, but it has been provided to you. You might think that you cannot just go to the Father and ask Him for something. The first thing you should ask the Father is to open your eyes. Your relationship with God is going to drive out fear. You have to grasp that God is not limiting you. He has never limited you. The Holy Spirit came on the Day of Pentecost and took the ceiling off. You can go as high and as far as you want.

If you would believe, God would give you the ability to completely pay off our national debt. God has a way of paying off our debt in our country. There is a way to do it. God knows that secret. But instead of focusing on our country, what about focusing on your bills? What does the Holy Spirit want to tell you by pulling back a veil that will cause you to be debt-free within the year? That will happen if you believe. The Holy Spirit has so much more for you, but you have limited Him. Because you have limited Him, He can’t speak to you. Because of that, people that are prophetic can’t come to you and confirm what God has said because you won’t hear it.

You can trust God. Relationships that you are having trouble with can be resolved tomorrow morning. If you accept what God is saying, the Spirit of God will enforce a blessing in your life to the point where you will see your family members and friends start to respond. Walking life's journeys (Mattot v'Masei) Numbers 30-36

Bible study portions “Matot v’ Masei” (Tribes and Journeys of)

Numbers 30:1-32:42, 33:1-36:13

We need to be careful when making “vows.” Adonai takes seriously “promises” that we make, especially using “His” Holy Name (YHVH). We might have said in times before words like: “I swear to God that I’ll…or… “I promise that I’ll” …or … “Next week by this time, I’ll…! But how do you know that you will still be in the land of the living by next week to fulfill your promise? We take “making promises too lightly”.

If we remember the Israelite “Yephtah” who, upon winning a war against Israel’s enemies, “vowed a vow and said, “Whatever comes out first from my house to meet me, I will offer it up as a burnt offering”. I am sure that he was probably thinking of some animal, be it a lamb or a goat, yet when he got home, his only “daughter” came out to meet him. The WORD of God says he “kept” his vow, yet how can we imagine that God would accept a human sacrifice? The WORD does not say, but there is a possibility that he DID offer up his daughter, yet not as a burnt offering, but perhaps a servant to the Levites in the Tabernacle,

What did Yeshua say about vows? “Let our YES be YES, and NO, be NO” without more words. We might have good intentions, yet only the LORD manages our time on earth. If we say that we will do something, and we use God’s name, and we end up NOT doing it, we will have taken HIS HOLY NAME in vain. So, what words can we say when we want to do something, without “vowing”.

”If God permits, I will try to…” or “I am not sure if I can, but I will try to…” These words seem better, because they leave the option “if God permits”. We can make plans for the future, but the future is always in the hands of Adonai.

In this study, we look at a woman vs a man making and keeping vows. If the woman is married, then, as long as the husband agrees to the vow, it is OK, and she must make it good; however, if he doesn’t agree to the vow, then the vow that the woman makes is annulled. The same thing if the woman is under her father’s roof (or tent). If the father agrees, all is well; if not, all is NOT well, the vow is nullified.

How do we take this today? When making vows or promises, and really, it is better NOT to promise, but if so, it should first be discussed between the husband and wife, or between father and daughter, and an agreement reached, whether or not such promise, vow, or decision is to be made. It is good to serve Adonai and be involved in ministry, but it should be agreed upon when it involves families.

Chapter 32 deals with the settlement of the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and half of Manasseh in Gilead, on the east side of the Jordan River. Was it a bad thing that they settled on that side? Moshe thought that if they built shelters for their children, wives, and cattle first and then joined the other tribes to conquer the land of Canaan, then, after the wars and conquest, they could go back to their families.

In Chapter 32:17. We see a glimpse of Messiah Yeshua (Remez) in this verse: "We will go armed and go with our brethren." One of the Hebrew words here is "Chushim" (to hurry with joy). There are 4 Hebrew letters: "Chet, Shin, Yod, Mem." These same letters rearranged spell "Mashiach" (Messiah), and our hope is that "Messiah Yeshua" will return quickly, hurriedly, and with joy. Our hope is also to deepen our relationship with our Messiah and LORD, since He is coming back quickly.

When we see the land of Israel and then look around at the other nations, many more Jews are living “outside” of the land of Israel than “inside”. Even though continents and oceans may separate believers, we are all united by one FAITH and ONE HOPE. We are all part of the Olive Tree.

Chapters 34 to the end of Numbers deal with the journeys of the Israelites during their time in the desert up to the death of Moshe. They journeyed to many different places, yet ALWAYS guided by the RUACH ELOHIM (God’s Spirit). We also journey a lot in our lives. One could say that our lives can be considered “journeys and stops” perhaps there are 8 different journeys and stops, the journey of “childhood” which enters later “adolescence” then goes to “young-adulthood” then to “education and career” then to “marriage and family” then to “Senior-adulthood” then to “retirement and rest” then to “eternal rest and Shalom” at death. Each can be a “journey,” but are we letting Adonai lead us during these journeys? Or are we doing our “own thing?”

The Book of Numbers ends with: “These are the commandments and the ordinances which YHVH commanded to B’nei Yisrael through Moshe in the Plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho”

Thus, we see that ALL the Torah commandments come from Adonai, the first Ten being spoken directly to the People of Israel, and the rest, through Moses to the people. The Torah leads us all to a knowledge of Yeshua, to accept Him as our Savior and LORD, through faith and faith ONLY.

“Masei” (journeys) A Torah Midrash over NUMBERS 33:1-36:13

” Masei” or “journeys” or “stages” in some translations, describes the encampments of the Israelites starting in “Mitzraim” (Egypt) which comes from the root word “Mtzr” or “m’tzar” meaning “restricted” and ending at last in the promised land, giving the division of the land of Canaan between the different the tribes of Israel.

In Numbers 33:1,2 it reads, “These were the wanderings of B’nei Israel who went out of the land of Egypt under the leadership of Moshe and Aaron. Moshe recorded their DEPARTURES, stage by stage as directed by YHVH; and these are the stages of their DEPARTURES.

We see in these 2 verses that the word “departures” is mentioned twice, once at the beginning of the verse, and then at the end. One way we can look at this is that we can either look back to where we came from, or we can look forward to where we are going, or both! We can say “we departed from… or we can say; “We departed towards…”

It is important to remember where we come from, how we were raised, perhaps even our shortcomings, our mistakes, yet NOT to DWELL ON THEM! But concentrate on what the LORD has ahead for us, our goals, family goals, work goals, and ministry goals. Don’t let our lives in Egypt depress us, let's look forward to our land of Promise.

We can’t just look at this from a superficial view, saying, “Well, so what, they traveled here and there, and they finally made it home, they would have made it a lot sooner if they hadn’t complained so much! I mean, they listened to the spies, etc.”. We need to look into the moral, spiritual, and symbolic. It is much more than just “going from place to place physically.”

They started out “restricted” to a place called “Egypt.” What was restricted? Their FREEDOM! They were surrounded by pagan idolatry; they couldn’t leave! Because they were slaves to Pharaoh. It took the power of Adonai-Elohim the great I AM-YHVH, to get them out using his chosen servant Moshe.

They left on the 15th of Nisan, the morning after Passover. The Word says they left with a “high hand” in some translations, “Boldness” with all “confidence” “fearless” with “valor”. It is interesting that the word “Masei” in Hebrew is spelled, “mem, samech, ayin, yod.” If we could see this word in the ancient Hebrew spelling, the symbols would look like, “water, leaning on a short staff, an eye, and a hand connected to the arm.”
So, what could this word symbolize? What does “journeys” mean? Well, here is one idea: the “multitudes march forward, leaning on the staff in sight of the hand!” huh? OK, sooo what does THAT mean? Look at it this way, Moshe led the way; he walked with a staff, as was the custom of all leaders back then. The people kept Moses in sight, and as he leaned on his staff, they followed. The “hand” leans on the “staff,” but who gave Moshe the staff? It was YHVH!

As they journeyed, they kept YHVH in sight! The staff also symbolizes leadership; we lean on HIS leadership, and we have the “hand” in our sight, the “hands” that were pierced with the nails on Calvary. “Journeys” are not only physical, but also spiritual!

The Israelites left Egypt, crossed the Red Sea, and now, they left “restrictions” behind. The sacrificed lambs of Passover symbolized Yeshua, the sacrificial lamb, who conquered the curse of sin and death, of HaSatan. Now they are on their way to a new life, just as we begin a new journey starting from the cross of Calvary. The Israelites experienced “bitter waters” at Marah, yet they experienced an oasis at Elim. We experience both bitter times and times of “refreshing cool waters”. Good times and bad times are part of our wanderings, or “life’s journeys”

They encamped at Mt Sinai to receive the Torah, to become officially united as a nation. “Am Echad b’Elohim” (One united People of God). We receive Yeshua as our Messiah and LORD, and we receive his WORD, his Torah, to guide us through the “wilderness of life”.

Then comes a list of all the places where they stopped, camped, and continued when the Glory Cloud lifted. All these stopping places took place during a period of 40 years. The number “40” symbolizes “testing.” The LORD was “trying, testing” his people. At each place they stopped,
they learned new things, and they experienced the sacrificial offerings once the Mishkan (Tabernacle) was fully erected. Yes, they complained, and Adonai chastised, yet forgave his children. He was with them all through the 40 years of journeys, and He brought them into the promised land through their new leader “Yehoshua,” who took Moshe’s place.

Our journeys through life will take us to many “stops” and “settlements”, one might consider a “new job” a kind of “Stopping to settle down for a while”, just like moving from “house to house” or “apartment to apartment” or “mobile home to mobile home”. Another “journey” in life is the “marriage journey”; then there are the “childhood, adolescence, teenage, young adult, middle age, and Senior” journeys. In each journey, we learn and experience different things, “bitter waters” as well as “refreshing new waters,” all the time being led by “the LIVING WATER!

There will be enemies to fight, the worst kind being “spiritual enemies from the Kingdom of Darkness” who will put traps in our way, stumbling blocks, bad attitudes, issues, carnality, etc. But all these are part of the journey of life. Aaron’s journey lasted 123 years. Methuselah’s journey lasted 969 years, while Abel’s journey was very short; maybe his journey ended when he was a teen. Enoch’s journey lasted 300 years.

We know not how long our journey will last, it is in God’s hands. What is important is that we learn from our experiences during our “stops” along the way, especially the “education stops.” Education is a lifelong process; it should continue all throughout our days. We have our secular education and our Torah education. Sometimes there are conflicts between them, and we must adjust our ways to the TORAH ways, not the other way around.

The last stop is the “Canaan” stop, “death” is our trip across the Jordan River that will bring us to the River of Life in the World to Come, In the New Jerusalem, we will receive our share of our inheritance, issued out to us by Our LORD and Messiah, Yeshua HaMashiach, (Jesus the Christ) Then, in the New Jerusalem, begins our “new journey” which will never end.

How can we imagine a journey without end? We really can’t, not with finite minds. “Time,” as we know it will be meaningless. Perhaps 100 years on earth will be like 10 seconds in heaven. As Elohim says, “One day is likened unto a thousand years, and a thousand years as a day”

As we physically journey from place to place, remember that we are also “journeying” spiritually, being guided (hopefully) by God’s WORD, through His Holy Spirit. May you prosper in your journeys through life.

What is your opinion and experience with women with short hair?

In my personal experience, there is a big difference between women with long hair and women with short hair.

As per the scripture, a woman's hair is her glory. Her beauty comes from her hair, and is a gift from God simply because not all women can grow long hair.

What I've noticed about women with short hair is the desire to go against their nature. The hair is simply a noticeable change, but with the hair comes others changes that one doesn't see. Whenever I see short hair on a woman. I see it as a question: what brought it up? Or who brought it up? In today's society, it is known that after failed marriages|relationships, women tend to desire radical changes that seem to be out of impulsiveness.

It's curious that this should exist because the majority of men love long hair on women. Cutting it short would certainly fit the agendas in place by society. It is bad for multiple reasons: 1. they make women look like men; 2. they make them "forget" their own nature. In both cases, it sin. Apart from the agendas, it also seems to be consuming a lot more. From a logical standpoint, short hair would consume less products, and take less time. But it doesn't. Quite the opposite: more time, and more products. (And we live in a society of consumption.) So women that say it's easier, it doesn't seem right. Easier is going with the nature, and not opposing it.

On top of this it just doesn't look good. I deduced last year that, without their long hair, all of their imperfections are more pronounced. It's the forcing of imperfections, where there are none to be seen. And I have also linked it to their so-called female intuition. It would appear you are at your best when you are embracing your true self, as God has made you.

Thus, the women I've talked to, or have observed them, it seems to be those with long-hair do things naturally, they ease into it, and think before they act. On the opposite, short-hair tends to be impulsive, forceful.

As for me, I am a man with long-hair and long-beard for two reasons: 1. I consider them a gift from God; and 2. God told me to leave the hair alone (for now anyway).

How did Jesus end the law without abolishing it?

Let’s look at how a legal contract works.

Scenario 1: Offeror offers the offeree a contract. Offeree has fulfilled the contract. Offeror honour the contract by paying the offeree.

Scenario 2: Offeror offers the offeree a contract. Offeree has breached the contract. Offeree honour the contract by making reparation to the Offeror.

The law of God is the same as a contract. If you can keep all the laws, you will have eternal life.

Matthew 19:16-17 A man came to Jesus and asked, “Good Teacher, what good work must I do to have life that lasts forever?” Jesus said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One Who is good. If you want to have life that lasts forever, you must obey the Laws.”

If you break the law, you will receive death.

Ezekiel 18:20 The soul who sins shall die.

If obeying the law can bring salvation and eternal life, why is everyone still dying? It is because the death sentence has been passed onto everyone when Adam disobeyed. Everyone is born according to Adam’s fallen image (Everyone is born sinner and all sinners must die).

Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.

Death reigns BEFORE the law.

Romans 5:12-14 This is what happened: Sin came into the world by one man, Adam. Sin brought death with it. Death spread to all men because all have sinned. Sin was in the world before the Law was given. But sin is not held against a person when there is no Law. And yet death had power over men from the time of Adam until the time of Moses. Even the power of death was over those who had not sinned in the same way Adam sinned.

Death reigns DURING the law.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”

Death reigns AFTER the law (For Christians who put themselves back under the law).

There are ignorant Christians who thinks Jesus died on the cross to bring them back into the law (from scenario 2 back into scenario 1 of the legal contract). They are saved by grace through faith but went back to keep the law with their flesh.

Galatians 3:2-3 This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh?

The truth is that God has ended the law which is designed to be obey and uphold by the efforts of the flesh.

Romans 10:4 For Christ has brought the Law to an end, so that everyone who believes is put right with God.

God has brought forth a new and better way (that is free of burdens of the law and consciousness of sin through grace by the leading of his Holy Spirit) for us to keep the law. Read Hebrews 8:7-13.

Hebrews 8:7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another.

Hebrews 8:13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.

Important: God is NOT INTERESTED to see how well we can keep the law through the flesh.

Important: God wants to use the law to bring to our awareness that we are sinners who cannot save ourselves.

Under the equivalent of a legal contract, everyone is fulfilling the contract as defaulters (sinners) who has breached the contract, making reparation for damages (death).

We are like mortgagor who took up a mortgage from the bank. Under the law of repayment (an example of the law), we need to make repayment (an example of death - just as everybody pays daily with their life as they age towards death) to the bank. But halfway through the repayment, someone comes along and help us make a one-time huge payment that clears the remaining amount and free us from the debt. That someone did not abolish the law of mortgage but fulfilled it and free us from it.

Jesus fulfilled the law by making full payment for our death through his death on the cross.

Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I (Jesus) have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I (Jesus) have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Dorothieyas Testimony

Going up i've always heard voices. In Kindergarten my doctor didnt wanna diagnose me with schizophrenia because i was too young but that was what it was. Sometimes, they would tell me things that would happen in the future in my life and it would turn out to be true. I hear a lot of negativity and gossip and they seem like real people majority of the time which makes it hard for me to distinguish that they arent real because sometimes the things they would say would line up with what the actual person says. Well, when I was 6 years old I was molested by one of my friends cousin and eventually became her brother, another cousin, each of their groups of friends and their uncle and his friends. I wasn't the only friend that was molested by her family and their friends. They would give us candy into manipulating us to having sex with them. They would penetrate me and they would make me scream into a pillow and would beat me with a belt if i didnt do as they said. They would also put meth up my butt and make me smoke it and it suck it off their penis. Her cousins and her brother would have sums with me and would invite their friends over to have sex with me and would beat me with their fists if i did something wrong. This went on till I was 11 or so.. I never told my parents until a few days ago. Im 27 now. When that ended I went into prostitution because i was hanging out with one of the girls that had been molested and she was prostituting and she told me if i wanted to be popular then i should prostitute. We were 12 or 13 and i said no, but later on when i turned 16 i decided to do it by posting on craigslists casual encounters. I meet one of her uncles friends on craigslist that molested me and didnt recognize him and had sex with him and he still treated me the same.He hit me and would make me have sex with him. He also for the first time , made me give him anal with my tongue. He was in his late 20s and knew i was underage. Although most of the guys i had sex with from craigslist didnt know that i was underage.. .

Americans' trust in the church rebounding after seeing record lows: Poll

Public trust in the church as an institution has risen after three years of stagnation, with 36% of Americans now saying they have a great deal or quite a lot of confidence in it. The shift, recorded in Gallup’s latest survey on the topic, marks the first significant increase since 2020.

Confidence in the church had fallen to 31% in 2022 and remained around 32% over the following two years, near its lowest recorded levels. Gallup has tracked this trend annually since 1973, when trust stood at 66%, reaching a high of 68% in 1975.

The only other major rebound in recent decades came in 2001, when post-9/11 sentiment briefly raised confidence to 60%, the last time the institution earned such broad support, as reported by Lifeway Research.

The Upward Call of God

“Not that I have already obtained it or have already become perfect, but I press on so that I may lay hold of that for which also I was laid hold of by Christ Jesus. Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as are perfect, have this attitude; and if in anything you have a different attitude, God will reveal that also to you; however, let us keep living by that same standard to which we have attained.” (Philippians 3:12-16 NASB1995)

When we believe in Jesus Christ to be Lord and Savior of our lives, and we die with him to sin, by faith in Jesus, and we are raised with Christ to now walk in newness of life in him, no longer to live as slaves to sin, but as slaves to God and to his righteousness, we are “born again” of the Spirit of God. The old life of sin we once lived is now to be done away with. And now we are to walk in obedience to our Lord and to his commands in holy living, and no longer for the sinful pleasures of the flesh, by the grace of God.

But we do not then become instantly perfect in every way. In fact, we won’t be entirely perfect until Jesus takes us to be with him for eternity and we are no longer living in these flesh bodies on this earth. For salvation from sin is a lifelong process. We are saved (past), we are being saved (present), and we will be saved (future) when Jesus returns for his bride, but providing that we have continued in walks of obedience to our Lord and not in making sin our practice. For if sin is our practice, we will not inherit eternal life with God.

[Matthew 10:22; John 8:31-32; John 15:1-12; Romans 8:24; Romans 11:17-24; Romans 13:11; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 1 Corinthians 15:1-2; Colossians 1:21-23; 2 Timothy 1:8-9; 2 Timothy 2:10-13; Hebrews 3:6,14-15; Hebrews 9:28; 1 Peter 1:5,9; 2 Peter 1:5-11; 1 John 2:24-25]

But the word “perfect” means “reaching the end-stage, i.e. working through the entire process (stages) to reach the final phase (conclusion).” It means “reaching the end (aim)” (source: Bible Hub). Another word for it is “consummate,” which means “complete.” Consummation also refers to “the first act of sexual intercourse between a husband and wife after their wedding ceremony” (Google AI).

The biblical marriage for the Jews involved an engagement period, which was a binding marriage contract. So, biblically they were regarded as husband and wife. But then the husband would go and prepare a place for he and his wife to live together. And then he would come and get her, and there would be a ceremony, and then they would consummate their marriage. And our marriage to Christ is like that. For..

We are in a covenant of marriage relationship with Christ, by God-persuaded faith in the Lord. He is our husband, and we are his bride, and he has gone to prepare a place for us. And one day he will return and he will take us to be with him, at which time our marriage to him will be consummated, and our salvation will be complete (perfect, consummated). In the meanwhile we are in the process of becoming perfect, and of becoming more like Christ in character, and of growing in our walks of faith in obedience to our Lord.

Yet, lack of perfection is never to be used as an excuse for continued deliberate and habitual sin and for willful walks of disobedience to God. And the Scriptures make it clear, even the teachings of Paul, that if sin is what we practice, and not obedience to God, that we will not have salvation from sin and eternal life with God. But we are still clay in the hands of The Potter, being molded into the likeness of character of Jesus Christ, provided that we cooperate with God’s work of grace in our lives in yielding to his control.

So, the point here is that the Christian life is a life-long process of sanctification where, by faith in Jesus Christ, we are being made to be more and more like Jesus. But this requires that we surrender our lives to Jesus Christ, to do his will, and to follow him in obedience, and to not ignore his commands, and to not continue in deliberate and habitual sin. We should be daily growing to maturity in Christ, learning more about our Lord and what he requires of us, while dedicating more and more of our lives to his service.

My sheep hear me. They know me.
They listen to my voice and obey.
I call them and lead them.
They know my voice, so they follow me.
They will never follow strangers.
They will run away from them.
The voice of a stranger they know not;
They do not follow him.

So, I tell you the truth that
I am the gate, so you enter in.
Whoever does enter
Will find forgiveness and will be saved.
Nonetheless whoever enters
Not by the gate; other way,
He is the thief and a robber.
Listen not, the sheep to him.

Oh, I am the Good Shepherd,
Who laid his own life down for the sheep.
I know them. They know me.
They will live with me eternally.
The thief only comes to steal and
Kill and to destroy the church.
I have come to give you life that
You may have it to the full…

They know my voice, so they follow me.

Married while waiting for God to deliver your spouse from cheating/ porn

I want to know what to do while I wait for God to deliver my husband from pornography and possibly cheating? How do I wait on GOD? I noticed something that my husband does, and I know he looks at naked or inappropriate women's profiles on Facebook. He does have a history of pornography and I literally caught him in the bed going through x rated sites while he thought I was sleeping years ago. He denied the whole thing as if I wasn't sitting next to him. Recently I realized that he has been looking up women on Facebook and masturbating from those. I found a few profiles and questioned him about it, but he denied everything. He said he wasn't the one looking them up. He knows I don't use Facebook so I wouldn't know for sure. But it was him, we have a joint Facebook account and that's how I saw it. Now he just goes in and deletes the history every time he looks into it. And he thinks I don't know he's doing it but I do obviously. I've confronted him, but he denies everything. What's sad is that I want to believe his denial but I know he's doing it. I have been recently praying regarding this matter. I believe GOD can heal and fix the situation. But while I wait for Him to renew my husband's mind and heart what do I do. I am broken, I feel unloved and unwanted. I don't trust anything he says. Because I know him to be a liar. My husband is not a Christian but he is very well versed in Christian practices and the Bible. Honestly I believe he uses the fact that I don't believe in divorce against me. I also think he honestly just doesn't care about me. He never did. He feels bc I am a stay home parent and he pays all our bills that means he is showing me love. But I don't believe if he can do this constantly, that he loves me at all. I can't trust him. I check Facebook several times a day he thinks he's covering his tracks but he isn't. If he goes to the bathroom at home and is in there a long time I think he's doing it. In my defense, that is where I caught him once. I can't live like this. I love him and outside of this overall he is a good man. I believe GOD told me not to leave him. So I need help from those that stayed in their marriage waiting for God to change their spouses. Men or women, I need help, what did you do to get through the waiting period for your spouses salvation? And then even after they came to Christ some people still struggle. Deliverance is a process that doesn't happen overnight. Any advice as long as it is Christian based is welcome.

Border agent charged with child sex trafficking, fraud in Cochise County (AZ), latest in a series of such crimes in Arizona

Tucson Sector Border Patrol agent has been indicted on 24 felony charges, including 10 counts of child sex trafficking, the latest in a series of sexual-misconduct convictions or charges against U.S. Customs and Border Protection employees in Arizona.

Willcox border agent Bart Conrad Yager, 39, was also charged with six counts of “pandering,” or encouraging someone to engage in prostitution; one count of attempted child sex trafficking; and two counts of fraud, between July 2023 and March 2024 in Cochise County, indictments from the Cochise County Attorney’s Office show.

On Thursday, county prosecutors also charged Yager with five drug-related felonies: possession or use of the anabolic steroid trenbolone and testosterone; sale or transportation of trenbolone and testosterone; and possession of drug paraphernalia, all in 2025. [Your mental image of a steroid-abusing pervert border patrol agent probably matches the mugshot pretty well.]

Yager is the latest of several Arizona-based CBP employees, including border agents and a port officer in CBP’s Office of Field Operations, who have been charged with or convicted of sexual misconduct and other crimes.

Yuma Sector border agent Ramon Marquez, 31, was arrested in May and has been charged with 15 felonies, including 14 counts of sexual conduct with a 16-year-old between December 2024 and April 2025, and one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, such as filming or photographing the encounter, according to a May 15 indictment in Yuma County Superior Court.
CBP port officer Aaron Thomas Mitchell, 30, was sentenced to 27 years in prison in March, after being convicted on federal charges of abducting and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old Douglas middle school student in 2022. Mitchell now faces state charges in Cochise County.
In January, former Tucson Sector Border Patrol agent Efren Lopez Cornejo was sentenced to two counts of lifetime probation, but no jail time, after he accepted an October 2024 plea agreement, admitting to one count of child abuse and one count of indecent exposure. Under the plea deal, overseen by Pima County Superior Court Judge Casey McGinley, Lopez Cornejo does not have to register as a sex offender.

Long Distance Funeral Plans

I'm 68 & in average health & thought it's time I plan my funeral. I quickly hit an obstacle. My wife & I both want to be buried in her home town which is 600 miles away. We're not rich so a 1,200 mile round trip for a hearse is not an option. I chose cremation for this reason but my wife is against cremation. She's Catholic. I'm not. Has anyone here had to deal with a long distance funeral? What did you do? We can't move to her home town because we can't sell the house until we get 3 truck loads of her junk out of the house. Yes she's close to being a hoarder so we're stuck in this house until that changes. Ideas or solutions other than getting buried locally?

At first I had no idea what the long term goals were for the Trump Tariffs.

Later on here in Canada I noticed that the Liberal Party of Canada fired P. M. Justin Trudeau and seemed to get much tougher on crime especially crime related to the USA border.

I also saw some videos that seemed to indicate that the Trump Tariffs were really scaring the corrupt leaders of the Communist Party of China and giving them a reason to calm down Xi from his rather ambitious goals for China.

Now I am wondering if the major long term goals of the Trump Tariffs are to use Tariffs to calm down nations that have overly ambitions plans against the USA.

Could the USA Tariffs on China even prevent China from invading Taiwan?

Could the USA Tariffs on China lead to China giving more freedom to the groups that they have been persecuting for years and decades?

Twin mommy who needs prayer

Hi, everyone! I am a mommy of 16 month old twins. I had a really rough pregnancy resulting in losing my ability to walk (maybe I will share that one day). I am walking now, recovered. I am trying so hard to catch up on this house and have strength to carry on each day. Please lift me up in prayer. Everything is just so heavy. I also have a friendship issue going on. If you would like to give any advice, please visit my profile and read what I posted yesterday. I think it is time to close the door in that friendship.

Also, my grandfather is having a scope done as I am typing this. His sodium levels have dropped in the past week and he is doing better, but he needs prayer too. He is 87 years old and I know if anything happens to him anytime soon, I am going to be a mess. My heart is also heavy for my mother who just lost her job. She is 65 years old and is going to need to work for a few more years before she is able to retire.

Lord, please bless all who are coming here to bless me. In Jesus' name, Amen! :purpleheart:

Oklahoma officials call for investigation after Ryan Walters' office TV reportedly showed nudity

On Friday, board members Ryan Deatherage and Becky Carson told NonDoc and The Oklahoman that during the executive session of Thursday's State Board of Education meeting, they witnessed images of nude women on a TV in Walters' office.
According to the reports, Carson demanded the television be shut off. Walters struggled to turn it off, and did not address it or apologize once it was off.
Deatherage told NonDoc Walters should be held accountable, noting if he was treated like any other teacher, "we would probably pull his [teaching] certificate and put him on his own list."
The Tulsa World reported a third board member, Chris VanDenhende, had his back to the TV, but confirmed Walters turned it off when asked and "seemed shaken."
House Democratic Leader Cyndi Munson (D-Oklahoma City) called for new leadership at the state department, "regardless of if recent allegations are true."
"While we wait for more information, we will follow the guidance of the Speaker and trust that any alleged moral or criminal wrongdoings will be thoroughly investigated."
Oklahoma House Speaker Kyle Hilbert (R-Bristow) called for an investigation in a Friday afternoon news release.
Kind of like Jerry Falwell Jr and Ted Haggart, the more they "doth protest" the more incline they are utter hypocrites.

Michigan Governor - No prayers

Whenever there is a catastrophe in Michigan no word of prayers from the Governor... Only "thoughts"

"I'm in touch with law enforcement about the horrible news out of Traverse City," Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said in a statement. "Our thoughts are with the victims and the community reeling from this brutal act of violence. I am grateful to the first responders for their swift response to apprehend the suspect." - 11 wounded in stabbing attack at Traverse City Walmart, police say; Man in custody

Derecho - Word of the Day

The word is new to me: Derecho.

Defining A Derecho

A single severe thunderstorm may produce an area of damaging winds only a mile or two wide and perhaps a few miles long, but derechos can produce damage tens of miles wide and hundreds of miles long.

To be called a derecho, the thunderstorm-generated high winds and wind damage should cover a distance of at least 250 miles long and produce at least a handful of 74+ mph wind gusts, according to a January 2025 proposal led by Brian Squitieri.

They are most numerous in late-spring and summer, particularly in the Great Plains and Midwest.

Sound super dangerous, like a plains hurricane with tornadoes thrown in for good measure.

  • Maybe Satan fears Christians engaging in enthusiastic Worship????

    Votes: 0 0.0%

We made it out to the Sean Feucht worship on July 27, 2025 here in Toronto, AND IT WAS AWESOME!

If you can make it out to any of his concerts in your area I would highly recommend them.

I do believe that the Adversary has been using FEAR of a virus to cause BigMedia to ignore the pandemic of suicides during the time of the lockdowns.

If you will listen to the official trailer for SuperSpreader you will hear somebody from a Communist Country state that this is how Satan shut down Worship in Communist nations one step at the time.

It is my belief that Mr. Sean Feucht is standing up for Freedom of Worship in the USA and here in Canada and I believe he is inspired at this critical time.

Powerful people want Freedom for Christians to Worship to be shut down because WORSHIP is a form of Spiritual Warfare that breaks through demonic strongholds over nations and governments and even over churches that like being lukewarm.

Oklahoma’s MAGA superintendent who demanded Bibles in class faces investigation after TV in his office shows naked women

What should have been a mundane Oklahoma State Board of Education executive session Thursday turned shocking after board members saw naked women appear on a TV screen behind Ryan Walters, the Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction and board chair, in his office, according to The Oklahoman.
The Independent has reached out to Walters for comment. A spokesperson for Walters branded the incident as a "junk tabloid lie” to the outlet.
Now, the state’s Senate has launched a porn probe.....
“This is a bizarre and troubling situation that raises serious questions about the events and what took place during yesterday’s executive session at the Oklahoma State Board of Education meeting,” Paxton told the outlet in a statement. “The accounts made public by board members paint a strange, unsettling scene that demands clarity and transparency.”....
Becky Carson, a board member who attended the meeting, said she was "disturbed" by what she saw on TV.
“I saw them just walking across the screen, and I’m like, ‘no.’ I’m sorry I even have to use this language, but I’m like, ‘Those are her nipples.’ And then I’m like, ‘That’s pubic hair.’...I was so disturbed by it…I was very stern, like I’d been a mother or a classroom teacher. And I said, ‘What am I watching? Turn it off now!’” she told The Oklahoman.

Walters then promptly shut it off, Carson told the outlet.
I am glad they are starting a probe.

Gaza: In the face of horror, we cannot look away.

From Vatican News' Deputy Editorial Director, Massimiliano Menichetti:

How much longer must we wait? What more must we witness before we stop the barbarity of war... an appeal recently relaunched by Pope Leo XIV? A cry is raised each day from Gaza.

In a world that is informed and connected, where every event is documented and broadcast in images and sound, people are dying of deprivation. Technology records suffering but does not cure it. Faced with such inhumanity, indifference is not an option. We cannot become numb or turn away after seeing such suffering.

Political leaders and governments must not remain silent.

What is happening in Gaza is insane, barbaric, genocidal. Why isn't everyone condemning this?
