The reward of the watchman is to be made inorganic like his brother the lamb. 1 John 2:25 He is also to inherit 49% of the slaves on Earth. (The other 51% belong to the Lamb) Since all have denied him, (The watchman), they have also denied the Son.

Trump just keeps saying things which are false. It is almost like he can't help himself.

Last I read, the fix was to boot each machine into safe mode manually and delete a specific file. No word on how that’ll work with machines that use something like Bitlocker to encrypt their drives.

A Catholic Mass consists of two primary parts: the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. There is also a second form of the mass which was the main form used from not long after the time of the council of Trent until not long after the second Vatican council.

JUDGES 11:1-33

This lesson is about “Yephtah” who was bullied and mistreated by his brothers and was excluded from his father’s inheritance, he ran away and got together with a gang of thugs and became like the “Jessie James gang” However, when trouble started back home, who did the brothers look for? Yes, Yephtah! Even though he was mistreated, he didn’t let a negative attitude take control, he returned and became their commander.

Then he “vows and vow” “If you deliver the Ammonites into my hands, whatever comes out of the door of my house I will offer up to you as a burnt offering” The Israelites won the war, and when Yephtah returned home and his “only daughter came out to greet him”. There are mixed emotions and opinions over this. Some suggest that He DID offer his daughter as a burnt offering, he killed her and burned her body on the altar. BUT… would the Holy GOD of Israel accept this kind of abomination? A human sacrifice? I would say NO! (my opinion)

So, what MIGHT have happened? Some believe that he did “offer up” his daughter, but to serve as a servant in the tabernacle of YHVH, perhaps helping the Levites or something similar. Again, just an idea, but no one knows for sure, we’ll find out the truth in Heaven! Others say that in the original translation, the words were misunderstood, and the phrase, “Whatever comes out of my house to meet me when I return in peace, it shall be the LORD’s and I will offer it up as a burnt offering” was really, “it shall be the LORD’s “OR” I will offer it up as a burnt offering! This explains why Yephtah might have offered up his daughter to serve in the Tabernacle. Had an animal, like a lamb or a goat come out, THAT animal would have been offered up as a burnt offering, but again, this is just an idea.

What does this teach us? Be careful of what we “vow” we might end up “swallowing” our words, best not to promise anything, and again, not to hold a grudge against those who have mistreated us, forgive those who have mistreated us.

How do Yeshua and all of us fit into this equation? Yeshua, who was 100% God and 100% man, lived a perfect, sinless life, and in the end, offered himself up as a sacrifice for sin. He was the "Lamb of God, who took away the sin of the world." He bore the weight of our sin on HIS shoulders. He died so we could have life, life eternal.

We, on the other hand, should offer up ourselves as "living sacrifices" to serve the LORD here on this earth, using the spiritual gifts that God has endowed to us, and using them to serve HIM and serve others, winning lost souls and leading others in the understanding of God's Word.

LUKE 21:1-38

Yeshua talks about the “end times” “Watch out” he warns, that things will get worse before they get better. Many think we will look forward to better times, yet Yeshua says just the opposite! Wars, rumors of wars, earthquakes, famines, etc., the world is going downhill fast, not only physically, but morality is taking a tailspin downward.

He is returning soon, but the Bible states that no one knows the exact date, hour, or minute of his second coming. To those who are lost or spiritually dead, he will come as a thief in the night. Yet to us who are spiritually alive and study the Scriptures, we have learned that he will return at the "Final Trumpet sound" of God. Many believe that during the times of Yom Teruah (Rosh HaShannah) and Yom Kippur, there is a final Shofar blast that announces the end of this period of repentance and returning. Could this be the time of the LORD's return? Something to think about!

We need to take heed and be faithful, await the coming of Messiah Yeshua, AFTER He returns, the world will enter a thousand-year time of real SHALOM. Yeshua taught all of this in the temple in Yerushalayim and would camp out on the Mt. of Olives during the night. What an interesting life! I think it would have been great to have seen and heard Yeshua in person back then. Yet we can still hear his voice through HIS WORD.

Is the speed of light truly a constant? Or can it vary? If so, in what kind of situations, or how much can it vary?

I'm asking for someone in another thread, told him I would bring it here and ask some honest questions about it here.

He claims the speed of light can vary with direction basically, can only be measured when being reflected off a surface, or in two directions/ways, and that we can't actually measure or determine it, and other things like that, etc.

I always believed that it was/is a constant, but are the situations where it can vary?

And if so, what are they, and how much?

Now he also believes that the earth is not very old, 6 to 12 thousand years or something like that, and he is using this article to support some of his claims, etc.

And since I'm not an expert, I told him I would bring those questions here, etc.

I argued that it was a constant, but then I googled it and found out that may not always be true, etc.

Anyway, can you guys pick this apart and sort this out for me please, etc?

Christian dad of 4 gunned down in front of family by Muslim neighbors​

LAHORE, Pakistan — A Catholic father of four children was gunned down by Muslim neighbors last week after he objected to their harassment of Christians in the area, his family said.

Marshall Masih of the Patiala House area in Lahore was the sole breadwinner for his elderly parents, wife and four children — the oldest 10, the youngest 18 months old. He was 29.

His sister Goshi Yaqoob, 33, said his family was asleep at 4:25 a.m. last Wednesday when four armed Muslims led by Muhammad Shani and Azam Ali entered their house from the rooftop after cutting the iron grill.

“The assailants broke the door of my brother’s bedroom on the first floor of the house and held him and his family hostage on gunpoint,” Yaqoob told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News. “They then opened indiscriminate fire on him, riddling his body with 16 bullets in the presence of his wife and minor children.”

Yaqoob was at her parents’ house at that time. The sound of gunfire and the screams of her sister-in-law and children woke her up, and she rushed to their house, where she saw four men heading to the roof. She went to her brother’s bedroom.

“I was horrified to see his blood-soaked body lying on the floor while his wife and children were huddled in a corner crying frantically,” she said, breaking down in tears.

Neighbors awakened by the screams helped the family take the critically injured Masih to the hospital, where he died from bleeding and the wounds to his organs, she said.

Masih, known as Bunty, had filed a police complaint against Shani two and a half months ago after repeated, unsuccessful attempts to dissuade him and his cohorts from regular aerial firing in the area and harassing Christian women, she said.

“Though the police arrested Shani and recovered illegal weapons from his possession, he was freed after a day without any case,” Yaqoob said. “Instead, the police pressured my brother to stop pursuing the matter. The Muslims were offended that a Christian had taken a stand against their criminal activities, and by killing him in cold blood, they have shown that our lives do not matter.”

Christians held a protest outside the office of the Punjab province chief minister the same day demanding swift justice.

“But our pleas have fallen on deaf ears, and so far none of the accused murderers have been arrested,” she said.

Her father, a retired sanitation worker, is 75 and recently underwent heart surgery, and the family is concerned about the future of Masih’s children and young widow.

“My brother was the sole provider for the family, but with his untimely death, we are clueless as to how his young widow and four children will survive now,” she said. “Our entire world has crumbled after this incident.”

She appealed to the provincial government and to Christians for support.

“We are in dire need of help. My father’s meager pension cannot support the family, especially the education and wellbeing of the children, as well as the legal battle to bring the killers to justice,” she said. “I appeal to the government to give education scholarships to the children and urge my fellow Christians to help us in whatever way possible so that we can get justice from the courts.”

Masih ran a small grocery store out of his house and had a good reputation among the 20 Christian families living in the area for more than three decades, his sister said.

“We are three sisters, and Masih was our only brother, the youngest of the four siblings,” she said. “He was a God-fearing Catholic who worked very hard to provide a livelihood for our parents, both of whom are heart patients, and his family.”

Rise in violence

There has been an increase in violent crimes against Christians in Pakistan since attacks on multiple churches and homes of Christians in Jaranwala on Aug. 16, when two brothers were falsely accused of blasphemy. Some of the attacks have also been attributed to the Israel-Palestine conflict following the Hamas terrorist attack on Oct. 7, as Christians are seen as being sympathetic towards Jews.

On Nov. 9, 20-year-old Christian Farhan Ul Qamar was allegedly shot dead by a Muslim Muhammad Zubair in his house in Talwandi Inayat Khan village, Pasrur tehsil of Sialkot District, Punjab province, in the presence of his parents. Qamar’s father said Zubair showed hatred for Christians and Jews, mistakenly referring to the family as Jews as he ranted at them before allegedly killing the Christian.

A 14-year-old Christian boy was gunned down by Muslims in the Mandiala Warraich area of Gujranwala District, Punjab province, on Feb. 5, in an attack purportedly motivated by the Jaranwala incident.

The victim, Sunil Masih, was standing in the market with some family members when the assailants arrived on motorcycles. They allegedly shouted that no Christian in the area should be left alive and opened fire, killing Masih on the spot while others barely managed to save their lives.

Pakistan ranked seventh on Open Doors’ 2024 World Watch List of the most difficult places to be a Christian, as it was the previous year.

I want to share what I have so far learned.

Water is one of the most important things a prepper will need, we can only live without water for around 3 days. It is very important that the sources of water we are drinking are clean, even if we are very dehydrated, drinking from a stagnant pond of water can give us Giardia, parasites making us very sick and that will only dehydrate us further if that happens. Don't think a simple Brita Filter will purify the water, they won't be able to filter out pathogens. You would need a more advanced water purification system to make the water safe to drink. If you live near an ocean, the ocean water will actually dehydrate us further because there is too much salt in sea water.

When it comes to our body needing sources of energy, carbohydrates will take the least amount of water for our body to digest, if you did not know our body uses water for digestion, fat will take the most water to digest. So, if supplies are limited when it comes to water, and you decide to eat it is best to consume foods that are higher in carbohydrates than fat instead.

If you ever do come across a clean water supply, it is recommended to NOT drink any more than 700ml to 1 Liter of Water in one sitting, our kidneys will not be able to process any more than that amount depending on the person per hour. and any excess water will go to waste as our body doesn't store water like it stores fat.
Drinking large amounts of water in one sitting can even cause overhydration, somebody has died by drinking 6 liters of water within 3 hours.

I know many foods and drinks can be high in water content, such as milk is 90% water, and fruits such as watermelon, kiwi, pineapple, along with other fruits are very high in water. They hydrate you as you eat them.

Lastly physical activity, being in a hot climate, sweating, and even talking will require you to drink more water compared to somebody who is sedentary.

This is not a complete guide; I am learning a little bit as I go. Any suggestions welcome or tips. I hope you learned something new.

I'm choosing to talk about this in OBOB in fellowship with you all who have in some cases been long time CF friends. I really do not care to venture outside of this specific forum for any reason, and many of you know why.

I was laying down to go to sleep last night after watching more of the GOP Convention. Kai's cute speech about her grandpa, JD's awesome speech, just a good night. I've been all in on Trump since 2016. But last night when I was in that in-between phase of sleep, I heard 5 words spoken that made me jump out of bed: Beast, Head Wound, Miracle, Careful. And the image of Trump's bloody face with his fist raised to the sky with the American flag in the background came to my mind and stayed stuck there for some time. I immediately opened my Bible to Revelation 13 to read about this again. The dragon whom the world worships gave power to the beast, who has the mouth of a lion, who received what appeared to be a fatal head wound, but he miraculously recovered and all the world marvelled. He was given power for 42 months, almost the term of the presidency. My heart started racing. It's an absolute miracle that Trump, appearing to be shot in the head, was only grazed on the ear, and he rose triumphantly, as the whole world calls it a miracle. Many people are seeing a different Trump now, and many who weren't before are now sympathetic to his side of things. The world's leaders released positive statements about Trump, hoping and "praying" for his protection and healing, calling for unity. The Democrats are toning down some of the rhetoric, and turning on Biden. Trump is smashing him in the polls.

And then the "mouth of a lion" caught my attention and I remembered Trump's sometimes foul mouth, and I remembered how Donald Trump Jr on several occasions last night called his father a lion, said that he had the heart of a lion.

Now, the whole world doesn't love and worship Trump (yet???? ever???? I'm just sharing my experiences from last night), and I can't see a world in which the LGBT and abortion Leftist Dems are the actual good guys (my opinion), but this shocked me to my core and I thought I would tell you all about it. I couldn't sleep for quite some time.

What is this being kept through faith that this scripture is addressing…?

It would be, being kept from the doings of unrighteousness, for we are not kept in our sins, but kept from our sins, for if one is not being kept from their sins, that one is not being kept by the power of God being brought forth by that one’s faith…..

For faith in the power of God actively working in one’s life is the only thing that can keep one from the doings of unrighteousness…. For we are saved to something, and that something is the doing of righteousness…. For this is the will of God in everyone’s life, that righteousness would be manifested in all of one’s doings….

Seeing it is only the faith of the believer that can accomplish this task, for faith in the power of God actively working in one’s life is the salvation offered in Christ….. For this is what we are called to, to actively believe in the power of God to keep us from all unrighteousness….

For the issue being; does the believer want to be freed from all unrighteousness or just certain sins at certain times, not hating sin so much that they would willingly enter into death to be freed from all of them… But when a believer, any believer would willingly enter into their death in Christ to be freed from any and all sins at any and every moment of time, that one will be kept by the power of God according to that one’s faith….

For experiencing this new life spoken of in scripture is found in the doing of righteousness in the time of this life….. For when one walks in all the righteousness that one sees, that one is walking in the will of God to that degree, and that one, is being kept by the joy and the peace of Christ’s life growing and being manifested in and through that one as that one’s very new life….. For this being the new birth coming to life, which can only be brought to life by faith in the power of God brought forth by the believer’s faith in their death and resurrection with Christ….

Oh to the increasing of that faith, that the new life might be brought forth….


Unto Him be all things, a fellow follower, Not me

Do I like Slate? No. If you want...I can pick another article showing Hunter is now a regular part of White House meetings, but I picked this one because it describes Hunter more aptly than others.

Gatekeeper.

Why would Hunter Biden be gatekeeping his father's face to face time? Easy. This election is crucial to him and his father staying out of jail. Remember those FBI whistleblowers? Recall the IRS whistleblowers? Remember the HHS whistleblower? Recall the special prosecutor who decided against pressing charges for the classified documents? Even if we ignore the litany of times Biden has failed to do his sworn duties....there's absolutely nothing stopping a full investigation into his multiple shell companies should Trump win. Why would Trump bother? Because he's been investigated and charged with everything imaginable except crucifying Jesus. The evidence for prosecuting him for the illegal docs already exists....Trump would only need appoint a prosecutor willing to go forward with the charges. The DOJ was protecting Hunter extensively (literally warning his lawyers when the IRS agents were acquiring warrants to search his property) and limiting the scope of the investigation to Hunter when the evidence led to Joe himself. This was all laid out in their whistleblower testimony.

About half of the Democrats in office want Joe to step aside so someone with better chances can step in....and he won't do it. At the same time, Hunter and to a lesser degree, the first lady have been gatekeeping personal conversations with Joe. He's an old man, with an old brain....it probably wouldn't be too difficult for upper level Democrats he respects to convince him to step aside for the party....so his family is by his side reminding him they could all face serious prosecution if he doesn't win. If we're being completely honest....he may get prosecuted by a Democrat president who wants to give the appearance of accountability and end the stigma the party has drawn by relentlessly prosecuting Trump by sacrificing Joe.

Hunter has been a dark cloud over Biden's administration since before day 1. He's been kept at arm's length this entire term. Now he's apparently sitting by his daddy's side ever since the disastrous debate performance. Why? For moral support lol? Perhaps for his solid legal advice which foreign companies across the globe have been paying millions (which then get "loaned" to the Big Guy)?


It seems rather obvious to me that the Democratic Party has backed themselves into a corner. They can no longer hide Biden's deficiencies and by some polls, 2/3rds of Democratic voters want him to step aside.

Well folks....don't be surprised if he doesn't. He can't. If he does, he risks being eaten by the same wolves he's sent after Trump.

Thoughts? If you think I'm wrong....why do you think Hunter is now staying by his father's side?

Here's a video showing the head of the Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, avoiding specific answers to questions from Republican senators. Then she left. Note age is not always a determining factor for a politician, Senator Marsha Blackburn at age 72 was able to run after her.

I am not impressed with it. I see it as inflationary and nothing is mentioned about debt or the deficit which will harm the country in the future. All this shows he is ignorant of economics like the rest of the politicians and the status quo.

Lowering the Fed funds rate to 1% probably through QE will enable corporations and investors to buy up assets, thus making it hard for Americans to own homes or pay rent, not to mention all the zombie companies created with virtually free money.

"On rates, Trump says Powell can stay on to the end of his term as Fed Chair, “especially if I thought he was doing the right thing.” But what does that mean? For one, that the Fed shouldn’t be cutting rates before the election. “It’s something that they know they shouldn’t be doing,” he says. It seems that questions will linger about Fed independence, at least in terms of more pliable staffing, should Trump win.
On taxes, the message is also stimulatory. Ttump wants to renew his 2017 tax cuts, at a cost of $4.6trn, and reduce corporate tax to 15%. How that doesn’t blow the federal deficit out to peak WW2 levels in peace time remains to be seen – unless the Fed is leaned on to cut rates; on which, Trump also just talked about a 1% Fed Funds rate, and how that made government spending and tax cuts much more workable."

This is such a bad idea because of inflation. Why continue an economic war with China when we need them more than they need us.

Clearly, those thinking Trump won’t use tariffs, or will only impose token ones because of inflation, are not reading the room correctly, just old textbooks. Trump says he intends to raise tariffs on China to 60-100%, and on the EU too, to an unspecified level, and will impose a 10% across-the-board tariff on imports from other countries."

This is letting the fox in the henhouse. Elites think elites have all the answers and he chose Jamie Dimon sadly.

Pointedly, Trump makes clear that this time round, he means business. “Now, I know everybody. Now, I am truly experienced.” He floats Jamie Dimon as a potential Treasury Secretary, as sharp a contrast with the other name touted, former USTR Robert Lighthizer, as possible. One would deliver go-go asset growth; the other is all about tariffs and production. Which is it to be? Or can it really be both?
