Hmm...

Sometimes I think people, specifically Christian people, approach anger the wrong way. We simply assume that it is better to not feel it instead of saying, it is human and okay to feel it but to not sit too long in it and to not let it take control of our lives.

Even David had anger and expressed it to God in prayer! But he did not let it consume him. Ignoring your anger and holding it in is not healthy. But it seems that when a Christian expresses anger with injustice, with what someone else has done, with the Devil, or even with God, that other Christians rebuke them and tell them that they are wrong for being angry.

God created us humans with a full range of emotion just as He has and getting angry is one of those emotions. Why can't Christians and the world approach anger in a more healthy way, learning to express it in a nonviolent way and then learning to pray to the Lord about it and then let go of it. That's what I do.

(Endnote for those of you who read my blog on here: This blog is not like my forum posts. These blogs are a way for me to express how I currently feel, both good and bad, sad and angry, joyful and hopeful, and everything else. I am a Christian; trust and believe I bring these things to God in prayer before you rush to accuse me or rebuke me. God can handle all my emotions. He's not just my King, He's my Father. He can handle all of my messier emotions and thoughts. I may not be 'perfect" children of the Lord as you are but that doesn't make me less of God's child. )
