  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

His Own Did Not Receive Him

'He came to this world which was His own,but His own did not receive Him' (John 1:11) It is the most terrible thing that His own,did not recognise and receive Him,their Creator and Redeemer! So many in our own generation want nothing to do with Him. He is there for them,even now,with arms open wide to receive them. 'Come unto Me all you who labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of Me for I am meek and lowly in heart and you shall find rest for your soul' (Matthew 11:28) Anyone who comes to Jesus He will not turn away. .........Jesus is the sweetest name I know and He's just the same as His lovely name and that's the reason why I love Him so,for Jesus is the sweetest name I know'.................If you recognise Jesus as the Christ and receive Him,make your voice known. Confess Jesus before men and He will confess you before Your Father in heaven'
