  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Gifting

What does the tradition of Christmas teach children? Even with the knowledge of the birth of Jesus and who He was, has it remained a good thing or like everything else, has a subtle twist occurred that benefits the Adversary? Even without idolizing all the dazzle and hoopla, what does the concept of gifting children (and each other) do in promoting God's will? Does it teach them to be generous, or is the first concept,... to get? Which will be more beneficial in the thinking of a child? I think you will find the latter is the case and it sets them up for a life of take over give, the very opposite of what God commands us to do, but which the world of man expects of us. Humans do love their rewards, even if the concept is to serve each other without expecting anything in return from man or God. Such is the way of man, not the Kingdom. Ho Ho Ho. Doing His Will is a one way act not needing payback. Even God says if we expect something from Him, we must do His will in serving Him and each other, first.
