It was while we were walking along the beautiful canal towpath holding hands together,on one of her visits to my home town, that I proposed to my young lady,'Will you marry me?' She answered,'Yes,but we should wait awhile'.'Of course',I said,'but we could announce our engagement'. My fiance was living with her family in a seaside town many miles away from where I lived, but had met my Mum and Dad and family. My Pastor suggested that instead of continually traveling to each other, that my fiance could come and live in my town so that we could work together in the church and pioneer work. He had a family of the church that lived next door to him who would accommodate and look after her. So we were able to get to know each other and serve God together.
