Jeremiah 7:24
This makes me look at what is going on in the world today. How wicked this world is becoming to the point of Sodom and Gomorrah. You see and hear of many ‘backward’ things and most of all, hate for one another. A great modern example of this is New York. Sin has increased everywhere, however, at an alarming rate. I’ve never seen or heard so much hate in the guise of love before.
“I love you only if you agree with me” attitude.
It’s true that the world will take care of itself and hate those who follow Christ. Family, let’s get into the Word of God and allow Him to speak His truth to us, so that we are not shaken from our faith when they (the world) come against us. Remember to speak in loving kindness, judgement and righteousness as this is God’s delight - Jeremiah 9:24 & 1 Corinthians 1:31
As for myself, I had believed a lie when the Bible speaks about the Lord's Feasts. I always thought them to be for Israel, when in fact it's meant for all His people. I didn't even know I believed someone else when they said "it's not for Christians, it's for us, Israel". God did point this out to me though, and I'm glad He did! It's really easy to be too trusting of someone's word rather than asking God.
