  1. A Visit To Grandmas

I visited my grandma after my counseling appointment today. It was a good visit with my grandma. I helped her unpack some. She has moved into a senior apartment complex. It is a lovely apartment. I know she will love being there. It is only about 15 min from my home.
  2. Mark 9

I read Mark 9 verse 41, " For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward." The Lord told my soul that He gives cool water to torture victims to soothe them. The Lord told my soul that He heals torture victims with nourishing food and drinks and water. The Lord told my soul that He loves torture victims very much.
  3. Make Your Own Youtube Bible Video Library

I got another idea today, and thought I would share it with some people. I was reading through the Bible in Exodus 26-30 this morning. Because the description of how the tabernacle was put together is not one of the most interesting passages, and is hard to picture in one’s mind, I thought I would view it on a Youtube video. You can do the same. Go to (Cut and paste this into your browser where you see other https:// addresses at the top of your screen when browsing the Internet.)...
  4. Stumbling Blocks

The Bible, from cover to cover, speaks of man's will vs the will of God. As a result we have an ongoing battle between the world man has made, and the Kingdom of God compliments of Jesus (previously just the will of God). Jesus said the Kingdom would be a stumbling block to the will of man affecting man's thinking and institutions, thus eventually Christianity as we have seen. Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am...
  5. Thoughts On The Book Of Acts - All Are Welcome

While the Bible is the solid foundation of our faith and the history reported therein is profoundly instructive, how we apply those lessons in today’s modern world needs to be carefully considered. The devil is using new schemes to turn people away from the church and we as Christian believers need to use new methods to share the light of Jesus. “You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.” Acts 10:36...
  6. What's Special About The New Year(1)

Happy new year again to you and yours. 2019 will be your best year ever. This will be POWERTALK first teaching series for the year and hopefully by the time we are done with this we will have a great understanding of what lies ahead of us and we will be fully prepared for the adventure and the blessings that lie ahead in the next 360+days. What is it that makes the new year special? Or maybe there is really nothing special about the new year? Someone said the new year is just a change of...
  7. The Lord Is Good.

If the Lord can help me he can help anyone. Im filled with hope and joy, and peace. Yes im a complete mess but that doesnt matter, im new and i will look toward that instead of the old me. Sure i may not see that new man yet but thats why we walk by faith not sight. THis means we look at eternal things rather than temporary thing. Im so blessed. The eyes of my soul glisten with His light. My heart rejoices. Praise the Lord.
  8. Two Interesting Occurrences

It’s been awhile since I posted anything, but had two interesting things happen during my prayer time over the last few days that I wanted to write down before I forgot them. I (almost) always light candles during my prayer time, and if they go out in the middle of prayer I just leave them dark until I replace them the next day. Yesterday, one of the candles was almost used up, but I thought it would last the prayer session, so I lit it and it stayed lit for about 15 minutes before it went...
  9. Genesis 35:22b-29

. ● Gen 35:22b-26 . . Now the sons of Jacob were twelve in number. The sons of Leah: Reuben-- Jacob's first-born --Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun. The sons of Rachel: Joseph and Benjamin. The sons of Bilhah, Rachel's maid: Dan and Naphtali. And the sons of Zilpah, Leah's maid: Gad and Asher. These are the sons of Jacob who were born to him in Paddan-aram. By the customs of that day, a maid's children sired by her mistress's husband, belonged to the mistress. So that Leah's...
  10. Dolls

I am working on my doll Emmalyn. I love her very much. She has long creamy blond hair. She is adorable. I am working on her hair now. I will be working on her clothing soon. I feel I may put her in a dress.
  11. Observations About The Mark Of The Beast...

Extra details gleaned from Rev. 13:16-18
  12. Mark 8

I read Mark 8 verse 31, " And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and the chief priest, and scribes and be killed, and after three days rise again." The Lord told my soul He was tortured because He was very beautiful and the Lord. The Lord told my soul that He suffered very much when he was tortured and that after He died He was raised into Heaven. The Lord told my soul that He protects torture victims and will heal each of them.
  13. Can't See The Kingdom For The Tares

While thinking about Christians who merrily spend their days making the religion over in mankind's image in order to justify their secular ways, I got to thinking about those dedicated to the examples set by the earliest followers, the Way. Regardless of how self sufficient or charitable, it seems to me that for them the lovers of neighbour/enemy as self, it is a no win situation here in earth. Consider homesteaders or as a better example, the Amish who live off the land and could handily...
  14. Church Growth Or Not

  15. Thoughts On The Book Of Acts - The Awesome Power Of God

The awesome power of God seems to get overlooked by most people. The miracles performed by Jesus and His apostles are so long ago we tend to discount them as something of the past – something unavailable to us today. While there are some Christian denominations that believe healing powers are still present among believers, I have not seen any documented evidence. Before the New Testament was written, miracles were needed to spread the gospel; but now we have the written doctrine and that...
