  1. The Blind Man Calling To Jesus

“35 Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. 36 And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. 37 So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. 38 And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 39 Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”” - Luke 18:35-39 (NKJV) Sometimes prayer can be so easy. The noise...

  3. Life

If one was to be asked what is the central proclamation of the Christian gospel many would answer like me "Jesus Christ is Lord." If we are asked what is a core belief some would answer "life." Jesus said he had come to give life and to give it more abundantly and John says that his life is the light of men. There are many other verses which speak of life and light. Essentially the sharing of the gospel is to bring life to a person that is dead in their trespasses and sin. Once they are...

  5. God Is Calling His People Out Of The Land Of Limit!!

Hello everyone! This year we will see God's people, His church removed from the land of limit!! The Lord is beginning to awaken His children. We are not limited, yet we have accepted limits. God is the God without limits, we serve a God who still desires to serve His children. He tells us that it brings Him great pleasure to give us the things of the His Kingdom. God is a God of Blessings, but He is also a father who will not tolerate unacceptable behaviour from his children. He is a God...
  6. Unusual (for Me) Experiences Praying The Jesus Prayer For Longer Periods Of Time

This will be a brief entry, and is really just a retelling (and slight rewording) of a private message I sent asking advice from another user. I am including it so as to remind myself of a few of the things I have experienced while praying. “I think I mentioned in one of the threads in which we have posted that I try to make regular use of the Jesus Prayer, and that I often pray it while driving. On one occasion, I prayed it continuously for a few hours while driving to see my daughter in...

  8. Those Scars

James 5:16 (KJV) Visceral slants on the heart, maturity says these are ours, never to impart to another, except to a confessor or a confidant who has his other. And if we all knew scars can be signs and wonders to point to the Christ Who heals what we cannot, [1] life would be to be wounded, recovering in Agape’s [2] salvation. _________ [1] Isaiah 53:4-5 and 1 Peter 2:24 [2] Definition of Agape: Agape - Wikipedia
  9. Jesus With Me

I spent time with my mom today. We read from the Bible and it touched my heart. We read some of Psalms and Acts. I am glad to have the Lord. I know he is with me. I know he won't hurt me. I received peace from Jesus reading the Bible today. It made me feel warm in my heart. I know that what has happened to me is seen by Jesus and that he will heal me. I listened to my Favorite band Further Seems Forever, a Christian band, today. It soothed my soul. It made me feel loved by Jesus. I will...
  10. Standing On The Rock

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for everything you've done for me and my church, and I ask you to bless the readers with the strength, courage, and love it takes to live life for you. I thank you for blessings more abundantly and beyond what we ask of you, and I love you very much! In Jesus name I pray, Amen! So have you ever asked God for something, and you waited and waited for what seems like forever? You never doubted you kept praying, and believing, but you feel like it's still taking...
  11. Daily Devotional > Personally Guided By Our Heavenly Father (c:

Does our Heavenly Father really desire to personally guide every one of us, all the time? I offer Colossians 3:15 > "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." (Colossians 3:15) So, yes God desires to rule us with His very own peace . . . right in our "hearts". This is very personal, how God wants to rule us in our "hearts" > not from some distance, only giving us orders and commandments. And we are "called in one body" to...
