  1. Response To Someone Proposing A Different Theory Of The Virgin Birth

My response to someone who proposed a theory that Christ was born purely by the Holy Spirit, as a kind of transplant to Mary (he shared no DNA from her or any other living human)
  2. Commentary On Jesus Speaking Out Against "the Traditions Of Men"

I explain the context of Jesus rebuking the pharisees, concerning nullifying the Word of God with the traditions of men.
  3. The Necessity To Take Breaks

I find coming here reminds me of the necessity to take breaks. There's something that permeates the air when I come here, it makes me more irritable almost immediately. I notice at churches, a different sin would emanate within me from attending that wasn't there before, each one has a different flavor in terms of godliness and sin. This kind of reminds me of the passage that says the lamp of the wicked is sin, so if I applied that "light" quality to the prism of the human heart .. it...
  4. Genesis 48:8b-14

. ● Gen 48:8b-10a . . saw the sons of Joseph, he asked: Who are these? They are the sons God has given me here; Joseph said to his father. Then Israel said: Bring them to me so I may bless them. Now Israel's eyes were failing because of old age, and he could hardly see. The leading cause of eyesight problems in older people is a condition known as Macular Degeneration. The cone cells within the human eye work hard all our lives, and when their waste products build up faster than the body...
  5. Spiritual Understanding Versus Human Understanding

During Jesus' earthly ministry, He made it a point to teach in parables and many times, He purposefully did so because He did not intend to share these spiritual truths with the unbelieving crowd. Consequently, this has caused many earthly-minded people to interpret Jesus’ messages based on their own human intellect or religious perspective. This includes the many manmade traditions and misleading doctrines taught to congregations all around the world. The disciples who Jesus knew to be His...
  6. Genesis 48:5-8a

. ● Gen 48:5-6 . . Now, your two sons, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt, shall be mine; Ephraim and Manasseh shall be mine no less than Reuben and Simeon. Progeny born to you after them shall be yours; but they shall be recorded under the names of their brothers in their inheritance. Jacob set a rather odd precedent by adopting his own two grandsons Manasseh and Ephraim; thus giving them tribal positions equal in rank to his original sons; and...
  7. Modern Myths Of Matthias (among Charismatic Protestants)

I refute some of the false teachings of modern Protestant Charismatics that second guess the election of saint Matthias to the apostleship in the beginning of the Book of Acts.
  8. Goodbye

I've had enough of this forum. It's just constant arguing and debating. No one can agree on anything and everyone is so holier than thou. We're called to love and support each other in our walk with God, not create debates so we can show off how much more we know than everyone else. It's a depressing picture of the church and what the body of Christ has become. I'm going to seek fellowship elsewhere. And if it can't be found, so be it. But I know I won't find it here.
  9. Satan Is Real And Always At Work

Anyone familiar with the Gospels knows that Jesus was under constant attack by Satan and his followers. Satan, also known as the devil, relentlessly sought to end the life of Jesus in hopes of ending God's plan of salvation for all of mankind. To this day Satan continues to be a cunning adversary bent on keeping as many souls out of heaven as possible through his lies of deception. Consequently, he continues to fool the people of this world into believing his lies duping many into believing...
  10. All Are Welcome ... Except My Personality.

I've noticed something, I see these signs that say All are welcome, I confirm that my body is welcome, my participation is indeed welcome, if I pay offerings this is also welcome. However, the person that God has created me to be does not appear to be welcome. It's strange to understand that you'd expect the pattern of the world to be in the world, no Big. But why is the church following the pattern of the world? Jesus noted that the world hated him because he was not of the world,...
  11. The 6 Month Test

Sometimes I encounter a phenomena in my personal spiritual growth in that it seems like something is "happening" and then it stop abruptly. This also is associated as, I noticed they were praying, but I also noticed when they stopped. So in this sense, I have a test that sits in the background of my head: If this new thing that is happening is still happening in 6 months, I'll consider it further. I find this way of looking at it helps to weed out spiritual or paranormal manifestations...
  12. Innocents

Concerning innocent babies, victims of the the modern-day holocaust caused by abortion ... The Innocents Singing in Heaven Gleefully at The feet of Jesus Knowing the Righteous Life That hands once thought Eternally denied That mocked the sanctity Of a sixth day* Little images Of the Divine Shall bring closure To society denied Marriage Supper of the Lamb Tiny cups for tiny hands If Innocents there Should stay small Kindness of the Son Shall grow ____________ * Génesis 1:26-31
  13. Going Green

Isaiah 25 ESV O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure. For you have made the city a heap, the fortified city a ruin; the foreigners' palace is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt. Therefore strong peoples will glorify you; cities of ruthless nations will fear you. For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a...
  14. We Need To Be Christ-like

Acts 11:1 tells us that Jesus' disciples in Antioch were the first to be called Christians. This was a term to describe those who followed the Christ. The term is also synonymous with the expression "Christ-like" meaning to be like Christ. There are many who make the claim to be a Christian, but of those are far too many who never act upon their claim. Hence, "Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked." (1 John 2:6). Thus, if we seek to walk as Jesus walked, we will become...
  15. Yeah But...

Jesus was concerned about our overcoming self in this world in order to better understand the ways of the Kingdom. In following His commandments, we are unable to misuse the knowledge of good and evil, for in servitude there is no gain. That is the way of the Kingdom. This is then why few follow the Gospel of the Kingdom, preferring another. Seriously! What of the things most people hold dear of this world/nation or within personal lives, revolves around no gain for self at the expense of...
