  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The Bible uses parables in order to hide bad news from you. Even if you knew the truth you wouldn't accept it anyway. So what little you could have gotten has been taken away from you (Matthew 13:12). Why would anybody hide good news? Matthew 13:10 And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why...

John 15:1-6 ESV “I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I...
Jesus Christ had just had the “Last Supper” with his disciples. Satan had entered the heart of Judas Iscariot, and Judas was set to betray Jesus Christ to the death. Then Jesus set out to wash his disciples feet, teaching them to be servants of the Lord and to share his gospel message with...
James 1:19-25 ESV “Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God. Therefore put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is...
John 12:32-36 ESV Jesus Christ speaking: “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” He said this to show by what kind of death he was going to die. So the crowd answered him, “We have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the...
