Is it right for someone to kiss his girlfriend both they don't have sex. Is it Biblical.. i need assistance. Thank you.

A kiss is not sex.

Indeed the apostle Paul instructs his readers to greet one another with a "holy kiss." Romans 16:16 1 Corinthians 16:20 1 Thessalonians 5:26

IMO the issue is not about kissing being unbiblical; but is having a girl friend biblical?

A friendly kiss is OK, not carnal kissing on the lips!

Yeah, a new word needed for something not biblical! Pairing keeps changing quite often!

"Old" definition? The ONLY definition that matters is what was meant by the biblical writers. For the command "Thou shalt not commit adultery," that means what the Hebrew word for "adultery" meant in 1500 bc. So yeah - it is the old definition.

BTW: What is the "new" definition, and how can it have any biblical merit?

RightTruth, it sounds like you are adding to the command to avoid adultery by defining something as "semi-adlutery." That is EXACTLY what Our Lord charged the Pharisees with. Making up their own commands.

Old or new, bachelors kissing unmarried girls during dating (non-biblical) amounts to sinful activity in comparison to adultery!

Funny I just heard a sermon which this was in it saying you are putting yourself right in a position of being tempted.

I think preachers like to imply some sexual activity is sinful because its the easiest way to get people to feel guilty.
