FYI: the word "adultery" REQUIRES at least one of the pair to be married to someone else.
"Old" definition? The ONLY definition that matters is what was meant by the biblical writers. For the command "Thou shalt not commit adultery," that means what the Hebrew word for "adultery" meant in 1500 bc. So yeah - it is the old definition.That is old definition.

RightTruth, it sounds like you are adding to the command to avoid adultery by defining something as "semi-adlutery." That is EXACTLY what Our Lord charged the Pharisees with. Making up their own commands.
I don't see why that would be a sin!
