I know she did some stupid things in the game-like the temps. I kept thinking, "You don't need temps, you guys are the ones that are supposed to be doing the work." And the whole thing last night with the toothpaste at the warehouse. But the ladies kept going on and on about some psychotic episode she had with the magic 8 ball. Did she?

According to the previews for Saturday, there are 15 more minutes from the boardroom. Maybe that is were the line from Trump comes in that wasn't in last nights show.

I saw her on the Today Show this morning and she seemed remarkably cool and non-psychotic. I, too, missed the first episode... did she really act crazy? She claims it was just a motivational technique.

Oh, and the temp thing was a really bad move. Whether or not it was right to hire temps, she still should have consulted with her team before doing it. That's just basic.

I think I went to the bathroom or something during that part. I only caught part of it. But what I saw she was definitely very paranoid and self seeking. Not what I would call scary but then we may not have seen everything that they saw. I certainly think that she was a hindrance to her team. And a very lucky break for Maria. I think that her mistake was so huge that she would have been gone. But I think she'll survive for a while.

Definitely a better show this time! Nice to see some personalities taking shape.

I agree- Maria must have been wiping her brow eh?

And yeah, a bit much, that chick saying it was the scariest thing she'd ever seen! Talk about a sheltered life!!!

I do agree she was a hindrance. And I think her time was coming to be voted off. But I also think that Maria also deserved the boot for going over budget by $5000. That was 10%. So far, I think the guy's time has shown much more creativity then then gals team. I can't say I care much for the female on the guys team. She seems a bit snooty for my taste. But, I guess she is successful in her own way.

But I would have loved to have gone on the Queen Mary 2! That would have been awesome!!

I agree. She's the type who wants all the glory without the hard work. She'll be the type of boss who expects her underlings to treat her like the Almighty  while they slave away and watch her take credit for all the hard work they do.

Awww, so sorry, Brinny. At least it isn't a difficult show to follow if you miss one. You'll still be able to enjoy the rest of the season.

Thanx BarbaraJean. I did see most of it tonight (except for some unavoidable interruptions) and the woman Jen got the famous "you're fired".....man she was a trip. They brought back Bill to give critique of the teams...that's cool, I really like him.

I loooove this show. Only problem, it came on at the same time as CSI tonight.

I agree with the Donald. That one was too easy. Jen may have had a chance if she had brought her backstabbing "friend" into the board room!

And I have to agree with Carolyn. It almost makes me ashamed to be a woman the way these "professionals" act with each other. These women are horrible to each other. I haven't seen one who knows yet how to be a true leader and bring everybody together for a task. Looks like the only way they can win is if they combine the teams like last season. I did see that they will bring the woman back from the men's team. Maybe she can do something with them.

Right now, I don't want them to win anything. The men are working so well together that they are fun to watch. Watching the women is like watching Jerry Springer!

The task was to start up a restaurant. Both teams were given a somewhat empty place and they had to decorate it, come up with a menu and get people in. They were provided a chef. They were to have customers fill out a survey at the end (some professional survey company would tally up the results) and whoever scored the highest would win. John was project manager for the men and Jennifer C. was project manager for the women. The men hired professional cleaners to come in and clean the place. The women (acutally Jen) chose to clean the room themselves. So while the men got a good night's sleep, the woman were up to all hours of the night cleaning, which but them at a disadvantage the next day since the were tired and grumpy going into things. The woman did Asian food, the men American cuisine. The men seemed to be putting forth more effort, the woman seemed to be standing around in huddles. At one point, one of the men had a table of gay men which he labled as "nit pickers". They were being especially picky over details. He suggested they send the cutest guy out to their table to be their waiter to butter them up so they could get a good review. On the ladies side, Jen encountered two older ladies who did not care for the decor of the restaurant. She did not take to well to their criticism.

In the end, the men took the day, scoring, I believe 4 points higher than the women. One of the criticisms of the women was that they were overdressed and the decor of the restaurant was all wrong for the neighborhood they were in. Jen C. just would not own up to the fact that they were wrong. She kept going on about how great the restaurant looked. Carolyn told her she just didn't get it. The woman were beautiful, the restaurant was beautiful, but not for the place they were. Jen kept interrupting, they had to tell her to stop and basically keep her month shut. She chose to bring Elizabeth and little Stacy in the boardroom with her, after her friend Sandy (who was in charge of decor-the part that failed) basically turned on her in the boardroom, saying she had her back, but in front of Trump said that she would fire Jen when asked who should go. Trump ended up firing Jen. He said it was an easy decision and he felt good about it. He felt she brought the other two in the boardroom purely out of personal reasons, not based on their job performances.

I agree with Carolyn too, the women are acting terrible. It is easy to tell that they dislike each other. Because of this they are not working as a team and it shows. Somehow, I don't think moving the other woman back over is going to help, as they indicated was going to happen in the previews for next week. I think she has a big ego, and she is going to clash with a team that already has ego problems, unless she can prove to be a good leader. So far, though, I haven't seen that from her.

Yeah!!! I missed that we started a new Apprentice thread!! Just in time, now that Amazing Race is over (I need to get a life! LOL!).

I wholeheartedly agree with you, BarbaraJean!!! The women just make me cringe! It's almost too stressful to watch! LOL! As a fairly successful businesswoman myself (with little post-high school education), I had to work my way up the hard way. One of my former female bosses taught me to be tough-as-nails, yet patient, caring & giving. Whenever I would get razzled by a co-worker & went in her office to complain, she would simply dismiss me by yelling, "Oh, grow a scab, Sue!" I will never, ever forget that as long as I live. Unless it was a serious work-related matter, she never participated in idle gossip or office rumors. It was a good lesson & sometimes mentors like this & experiences teach us just as well, if not better than just TEXTBOOKS.

You also can't teach "gut instinct" & obviously Pamela knew right away to join the boys. I sure would have! Stacy (the fired one) was right - it's a catty sorority-like atomsphere. Much worse than Season 1. I do hope "little Stacy" is the next to go - she's got some issues. Plus, I hate her demeaning expressions & the way she flips her head to toss her hair. Ugh!!! It looks like now she & Pamela get into it, from the previews??? The Amazon & The Munchkin??? Should be fun to watch - I'll have to pop some popcorn for that one. Pamela could sneeze & blow Stacy across the street. LOL!

Of the girls, I like the blonde Jennifer (the other lawyer in the group), and Pamela. - Although she scares my husband & he likens her to Cruella DeVille. ^_^ Of the guys, I like Kevin & the young Andy. The rest, including Raj, I'm not so sure about yet. Chris seems immature, has a potty mouth, but his comment that he "hates the public" was pretty funny.
