Where did you go and what did you do on your last date?

^ No, I've never really done anything formal. I've always managed to skip past that bit. Plus, I like to be chilled out. I don't want to feel like I'm in a job interview.

The last thing I did as an official date was probably having a BBQ where she cooked (Don't judge, she LOVED to BBQ and be the one cooking)


The last "date" I had where it was me and a woman was probably a couple weeks ago when I went to a little carnival type thing over the ocean.

I intentionally scared the woman half to death. I screamed "Wait, why are we spinning like this? No one else is turning like this!!!" while she had her eyes closed. I kept screaming "We are in sooooooo much danger, I think we are going to die!" etc. While riding that thing sticking up between the ferris wheel and the roller coaster in this picture. Its a swing set that goes all the way to the top, spins you out and around over the ocean.

I'm trying to remember what my last proper date was, its been ages since a guy asked me out and actually followed through with it.
I think we just went to a restaurant and had lunch too.
I remember one guy took me out to the aquarium (at my suggestion!) that was fun.

the other ones were horrible dates in which the guy wanted me to take him places. I don't choose to remember those ones! (cos he stole from me).

Otherwise I do go out, but with gals. Usually we just go shopping or catch a movie or do a walk or something.

Well, that's not a date. I go out with members of the opposite sex all the time.
I have a girlfriend, but I don't think we ever went on a date. We just hang out and go places, but I never did the formal nonsense.

dinner and a movie (an engineer and very traditional in thought)...then he drove me though the complex where he works and gave me a verbal tour of the grounds (a lot more interesting than it sounds since it gave me a lot of insight into who he is)...and we went back to his house where he played his guitar (classical) and we watched another movie on Netflix...

Why? We love each other and spending time together. If I offered to take her to a movie and pay for it she would wonder what was wrong with me.

We went out to a restaurant called Old Chicago, I had a calzone. Yes, he paid.

Today, we walked her doggie, and spent a little time with her brother and his wife. We do a lot of "real life" things with each other.

At other times . . .

We have gone out to get her haddock.

We go to a shoreline park and sit with each other and talk and do Bible and share with people.

We went to a concert with a guy visiting at a church.

And we have gone together to church small groups.

She loves to go shopping with me at the grocery store; it can be romantic, with free chaperoning

Went to a restaurant and ate and wished the whole time that I had just gone home after work that night. That's been almost 2 years ago.
