For a long time I believed God will never judge those who don't know about him.

but given the law of nature* innate in our mental instincts.

Even if we are deceived it appears God will still judge* us.

source: (adam and eve being deceived still rejected from the garden).

so this motive that satan can deceive man in a way that makes God curse his creation, has been the motive of satan for thousands of years.

But I used to try to sugar coat my ideas, that the pigmi's in africa never heard the Gospel and would be safe.

but the truth is, that via deception of the prince of the air, the chances are not looking good for them.

hence this motive led one of the greatest missionary movements of our time.

1789-1914 the great missionary era.

We are no longer in a missionary era, and that is unfortunate.

what are your thoughts.

Footnotes:

*law of nature, as explained by CS lewis (explanation of this is allowed on this thread)
**Judgement - great white throne judgement, of all wrong doings: Revelation 20:12-14: "12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works.14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."

(note:now, one can argue that eve was the one deceived and not adam. Meaning that either He KNEW what was happening, and chose to do it anyway. Which begs the question when we are deceived, if deep inside, if we REALLY are suppressing the truth for a lie.)

see truth decay in OP

You think that waiting in line shows "lack of selfishness," but standing between a lion and a calf that is not your descendant doesn't? Why must "lack of selfishness" come from some extraterrestrial source? Why couldn't it come from instinct?

there is no biological source for love.

you can't put it in a testube and artificially create it.

hate, on the other hand can be created by removing the God given love.

So, in summary, there is no Scripture for this "age of accountability." ;-)

not really, the only verse some use is in samuel when david says "he will not come to us, we will go to where he is"

and it could be just a referral to the fact he was not coming back from the grave.

no resurrection for him in other words.

but on the other hand, resurrection was not something that was taught that early in jewish history.
but healing in general was all over the old testament, so he could have simply been praying for a healing, and when it did not happen he gave up trying to pray. Resurrection was not taught in the old testament, it was prophecied however, but it seemed to not be documented in actuality, until the new testament.

but it would seem that david either knew of the prophecies of the resurrection and was praying for a resureection of his son, which did not happen.

or he believed that "where he was" was in heaven, and that we will go to him some day.

it could really be either one.

right now I am leaning on the age of accountability, because seeing that not many people were resurrected that died, and there were lots of deaths around them, I would think it a stretch to think David actively believed in a resurrection of his son (as a special occasion). That would put david on a pedestal with all other old testament saints.

so I feel that that view is negated, what is your opinion?

yes there appears to be an age of accountability.

so children that are aborted for example get free passes to heaven.

If I were God I would judge each person by works, as that makes sense to my puny mind.

but for some reason God allows those children to come to him. The ones that do not have a full grasp on what is right or what is wrong.

I constantly am telling my son (age 8), not to hit.

he sincerely does not know why he can't hit, if someone else hits him.

He clings on every idea I read to him out of the Bible as if they are a foreign language.

he has no clue

I can see the reason for it.

to judge someone to hell that has no clue, is really pointless and cruel.

that God and many other God's such as hades, and hercules, and zeus. are all characters and people who existed as normal humans on earth, they were great military leaders and such that after several hundreds of years past, they got diefied in human culture. Statues were made, and prayers were given. Such is the idea with thor, so I don't fear thor, or zeus. I don't fear military leaders that can kill the body and after that they cannot do any more. Well, there is oxytocin. It's a hormone produced in the hypothalamus, and stored in the posterior pituitary gland. In pregnant women, it stimulates uterine contractions. It's release into the bloodstream is what initiates labor. (Synthetic oxytocin is given to induce labor.) It's also a neurotransmitter and men's brains produce it, too. It seems to promote feelings of interpersonal attraction, trust, and closeness. It plays a role in sexual arousal. It's released in post-partum women by breastfeeding, which may augment bonding between mother and newborn. The article is very elementary, but as it notes, oxytocin has been called the "love hormone."

Of course, the human brain is enormously complicated, and our behavior is a function of far more than hormones. We have barely scratched the surface in understanding it all. But no one should doubt that there is a neurophysiologic substrate for love, as there is for all of our emotions.

like I said you can't create love. oxytosin is a different story, but I would go out on a limb to say that you probably can't put chemicals in a testube to create it either.

so your in a pickle each way.

Thor, a human...??

Blasphemy....!

I will look him up for you.

well unfortunately I could not find thor, but I will quote a section on hercules:

"
Exploits of Hercules
The children of of Isis followed her instruction, and went into battle against Typhon and his associates and defeated them, by the river Oris in Arabia. After that, Isis continued to reign over Egypt in peace.
Hercules was the most valiant of all those who fought against Typhon, and encouraged by his own success, he went on many other journeys, subduing giants as his father Osiris had done.
Wives and Children of Hercules
Hercules had three wives, Araxa, Omphale and Galathea.
Araxa is likely to have been a descendant of "Araxa the Great", one of the daughters of Noah born after the Flood, but this is not stated specifically. They had a son called Tuscus, from whom descended Dardanus the first founder of Troy.
Omphale, about whom little is said, except that she gave Hercules a son called Athus, who became known as "Athus the Great". His fourth-generation descendant, also called Athus, entertained Dardanus when he arrived in Phrygia.
Galathea was the daughter of Iupiter Celtes, the king of Gaule, otherwise known as Celtica or Samothea. She was a good giantesse, and her father would not allow her to marry anyone who was unworthy of her. Eventually he gave her to Hercules, because he had proved his valour. Hercules and Galathea had a son called Galathew (Galatheus) who became king of France. The complete genealogy, from Noah is:
Noah, Japheth, Samothes, Magus, Sarron, Druius, Bardus, Lucus, Iupiter Celtes, Galathea, Galathew.
Death of Hercules
Hercules died at about the age of 350, having reigned and commanded in France, Italy and Spain for 67 years. His death was greatly lamented, and the people of Spain erected great and costly monuments. He was buried in a rich and stately tomb, close to the place which is known as the Pillars of Hercules, or Straits of Gibraltar.
Hesperus, a descendant of Gomer, succeeded Hercules as the twelfth king of Spain.
"

-An Historical Treatise of the Travels of Noah into Europe according to berosus a chaldean priest and scholar.

noahs family was a family of giants, which made them easy leaders in pre historic communes and cities. Which also made it easy to build an arc.

but I am not sure if hercules was a giant, but he definately subdued them, like his father did. And later in history due to a lack of historic documentation he was deified. The Bible on the other hand has much history, as the ancient jews were of the first to found language arts. So noah, the oldest family's history is actually preserved by a non partisan source, a "chaldean priest, who was actually a very renound scholar and historian of the day"

the greek accounts of history were always more fanciful and imaginative, see this chart of parallel accounts:

My point is just that love, aversion, happiness, sadness, anger, fear, and all of our emotions are natural physiologic processes. They are functions of neurotransmitters and neuronal networks in the brain. Other animal species experience them too, though in different ways and to varying degrees. But there is nothing supernatural about them at all.

if that is your point, you would need supporting statements. As I just debunked the idea that oxitosin creates love. When in essence it may be a side affect of internal emotion and feelings. The classic case of the cart before the horse. So you would need to show that oxytosin is prior to love, and therefore the cause of it. to make your point valid, but I am sure if you word it that way it sort of self refutes anyhow. Because obviously oxytosin is a result of psychological and biological stimulation. I would not call it love. Love creates situations where this stimulation can further excrete oxytosin as to further compell love. yes, that may be true. But none the less it's post stimulation that causes oxytosin.

You are confusing the condition with the cause.

When I sit down my bones and muscles move in the way of sitting... but I make the choice to sit down, and I am the controller of this action.

Love is a similar story.

Eve was deceived, Adam was not deceived.

1Timothy2 "For Adam was formed first, and then Eve. 14 And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman who was deceived and fell into transgression. 15 Women, however, will be saved through childbearing, if they continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control.…"
What about those women who never had/have children? How can they be saved if bearing children is a requirement for their salvation? Are all childless women going to hell then?

God will judge every human that ever lived by the motivations of their actions. If they lived solely by His will, accepting Jesus Christ as their savior and lord, they will enter heaven. If they lived by their rules, yet respected what they knew of His Law, He will go lighter on them, but they will not enter heaven. If they lived as they pleased, not caring about anyone but themselves and their own pleasure, whether they heard the gospel or not? They go to a deeper part of hell. The deepest part of hell is reserved for the devil and his angels, and the antichrist and his false prophet.
