Who remember's the show Today Special? Please tell me somebody else watched it. It was about a department store in a mall and at night there was a manquin that came to life and muffy the mouse and some other people it was weird. check out retrojunk.com for a ton of cool 80's stuff. The letter people is another classic

Yeah, the mouse would say, "Hocus pocus allamagocus," and the mannequins would come to life. I don't remember much about it besides that. Oh and the guy mannequin wore a beret.

Anyone remember the Sid and Marty Kroft hour with the Buggaloos, Land of the Lost, HR Puff 'n Stuff, Dyno Girl, and all that stuff? Horrendous special FX but god those were good times....

I remember when GI Joe, Voltron, He-Man, Transformers and the like were brand new shows. I remember Head Of The Class, Mr. Belvedere, and such were new. I also had the metal lunch pale. Mine was of GI Joe and also had a Rambo and a Transformers one. I'm a huge heavy metal fan and remember when Twisted Sister and Metallica busted on to the scene. I cringed when New Kids On The Block was always playing on the radio. I kept shouting to the radio will someone please end the madness......

I showed a 11 year old the games we had then. In this case I showed him a video of Pitfall. He didn't think I was serious and asked if it was the loading screen for the game. ^.^

One of the things I like about FB is posting pictures of things you grew up with and having people your age know what it is, while those who are younger have no clue. Such as posting a picture of a cassette tape and a pencil. Young people have no idea what those two have to do with each other. Or in some cases don't really know what the cassette tape is.
