You rocked out to Bon Jovi, New Kids on the Block, and Madonna.

You had big hair and wore acid-washed jeans, high top sneakers, jean jackets, jelly shoes, and legwarmers.

You carried a lunchbox with a cartoon character on it.

You had an extensive collection of Pound Puppies, Care Bears, Popples, and others.

Saturday morning TV was actually worth getting up for.

You actually played outside.

You participated in the Book-It program at school.

You either hosted or attended several birthday parties at the local roller rink.

You remember burying yourself in novels by Judy Blume.
You sat on the steps playing your Nintendo Game & Watch.
You were scared of "breaking" the classroom computer.
You were scared of computers ^_^
You and all your friends had a rubiks cube
99.9% of the cakes you ate were home made

If you remember the Cabbage Patch Kid's craze
If you couldn't wait to get home to watch She-ra & He-man
If you know who Jem is
If you ever bought the huge can of Aquanet, or used all (at the time) 4 stages of Rave hairspray to get your hair to do what you wanted it to!
If you knew what 'Charles in Charge' was
If you never had a fear of eating pop-rocks and drinking soda
If you rode your bike everywhere without your parents complaining and without a helmet!
If you knew how to roller skate backwards, forwards, sideways, leg over leg, and you did it WITHOUT pads & a helmet

Nice to be reminded. I nearly forgot about Pound Puppies and Popples, but yes, I do remember now. There was also something called Smurfberry(?) cereal which I really liked, but it was taken off the market before too long.

In the eighties, also, (for me also during part of the nineties) when a friend moved (or if you moved), it was more of a big deal, because you didn't have the internet or cell phones to make keeping in contact easier.

You find yourself downloading and playing all your favorite cartoons to replay them for your children. :)
Cartoon such as *Huggabunches
*My Little Pony and friends
*Carebears
* Smurfs
*Alvin and the Chipmunks
* Strawberrie shortcake
*Jem and barbie rockers
*Transformers
*Glowworms
Andy and Ragetti Anne
And all the 80s cartoons you miss and can think of including PeeWees playhouse!

When your jamming to oldschool 80's and early 90's and feel sooo happy! lol

When all the funky punky cloths looks cool when your out shopping for clothes.

When you cant stop yourself from wearing the bright makeup colors or you just want all that hair spray and puff!

When you say cool, radical, narly dude, hey man,when you still say dude .

When youd miss going play at the park or wach tv then being online.

When you like to drink koolaide and you still like your spagetti O's :) Chef Boi R Dee Brand is your favorite! And popcicle sticks are still the best!

When your looken around for penny candy stores and ask yourself why you cant find them?

When youd rather wear Roller Skates then Roller Blades! :)

You Have a disco ball in your house!

Your keeping all 80's ways for your kids as if they are your traditions! :D

And when youd rather wear a pretty colored nail polish instead of the french manicure.

This is so me. :amen::p

Lol! I own both "V" DVD sets and all seven seasons of the Golden Girls.

I'm going to throw out wanting to have Mama's Family on DVD.

Who remember's the show Today Special? Please tell me somebody else watched it. It was about a department store in a mall and at night there was a manquin that came to life and muffy the mouse and some other people it was weird. check out retrojunk.com for a ton of cool 80's stuff. The letter people is another classic

I loved TGIF. I don't recall Today Special, I think it was produced in Toronto and eventually got on Nicolodeon though.

Anyone remember Bonkers? It was a show about a cartoon bobcat police officer and his human partner, I LOVED it. It only lasted a year and I was so sad.. it played in the early 90's (1993 I think).

How about "The Wonder Years?"

Also, "Double Dare" and "You Can't Do that on Television," on Nick.

Nintendo and Atari were the only gaming systems (don't know if that is fact, but it was a fact to me growing up!) :)

As for TGIF...Full House, Family Matters, and Step by Step!?

Unreal. Thanks for the memories.
