CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Are you implying that Eve had difficulty conceiving prior to Genesis 4:1 if there were marital relations?
The Holy Scriptures state that she conceived after the Fall, not before. The logical conclusion here is that there was no marital relations before this.

As a man I cannot imagine having sex with the mother of Jesus Christ, my God, married or not.....with that said....I cannot imagine Joseph, being the man of God he was, even thinking of having sex with Mary...to the orthodox mind this is unthinkable...
my question to protestants is:
Why do you think Mary had to be like any "normal woman" and have sexual relationship?
Did Joseph, after the birth of Jesus Christ, know the meaning of His birth and who He was?
Pondering the unthinkable...

No the logical response would be that she didn't convieve until the fall of man.. She was bone of adams bone and flesh if his flesh.. They became one.. Why is it so hard to think that Mary and Joseph was married and yes they became one flesh after Jesus was born.. Why is that such a sickening thought? God blessed the first man and woman and told them to muliply. Now if mary was blessed among woman why would this not imply to her.. Children are a blessing and a heritage of the Lord..

Purity is also in the marriage bed.. When a husband and wife are in thier marriage bed it is pure before the Lord.. In fact Paul says that to deny each of this is in fact SIN.

It is true.. I has been since the beginning.. God has not changed His thoughts on this.. There is a reason that Jesus was born a virgin.. But it sure wasn't the reason that you all seem to think it is..

If Jesus Christ is fully man why did He not have sexual relationship with anyone if this "passion" is needed to be a "normal man"?
Seems to me insisting Mary had sexual relationship with Joseph after the birth of Jesus Christ is saying to be "normal" one must have sex...
I submit Mary was devoted and "married" to God thus desired no sexual relationship at all, in no way, with Joseph... and lived as if they were "brother and sister"....
I also find something twisted and sick in the idea Joseph would even think of having sexual relationship with someone that just gave birth to "God the Word"....
it demeans and degrades both Mary and Joseph....

Mary is not the Ark of the covenant.. She is the mother of Jesus whom was fully man and fully God... This is who Jesus is.. Mary is a Jewish young woman who had a Word of the Lord and she said let it be done to me as you have spoken.. THerefore she became the earthly mother of Jesus in whom was not only our redemtion but hers also..IamAdopted,
