Im sure you have already read my post about wanting to move to the Abbotsford area, because I am looking at going to COlumbia BIble College in the fall. But one thing that I Dont want to do is live on campus.

So i was wondering if any of you know anyone who is looking to rent a room (for me) or someone I can bored with while going to school?
Even if you dont know anyone, if you ever see any postings at your church or in your news paper... could you let me know?
I would perferr them to be christian.

lol my friend just moved to abbotsford and is also planning on going to bible college but Theres NO way I think it would be a good idea for him to have an attractive female roommate. Wouldn't be good. lol.

I used to go to a bible college for three semisters and I lived near the college about ten to fifteen minutes to get me there when I am going the backroads. But I didn't want to live there for several reasons:

1. I am a very private person
2. I love and cherish my privacy
3. I love my independence
4. I don't like to talk a lot
5. I don't like to be around a lot of people
6. Although I had a "ball" with my college, there were some that acted like they had "better than thou" attitudes and that really bothered me

Anyway, good luck and God bless you on your endeavors and studies.

Thank you, and I know exactly what you mean. Although I like to be around people and talk and have a good time.... I am an only child and I have always had my privacy. If I want to talk on the phone, I dont want to worry about the person that i am sharing a room with to hear my every words adn details. I dont want peopel around or touching mys tuff.... but anyways, God will work it all out for me

No, there is more. A girl I know is going to a Pentecostal College there. So there is at least two.

Yea he said he might go to Columbia but hasn't decided yet.. His training has been more experience related spiritually than academically lately.

Your soo lucky!!! I wanted to go to that soo bad. but cant work it out with work. i will just have to settle for Jason Upton and Mike Bickle in my home town on those days. That sounded like a great conference I wanted to work it out. Todd Bently, Kevin Prosch, Bill Johnson (bills the man). I'm sure it'll be powerful!

I missed Jason Upton last time he was here in Abbotsford- but at my work we do duplications and that for recording artists and we did one for Jason Upton....his song 'Fly' there are supposed to be angels in the background singing. Even without the angels the song itself is absolutely phenomenal!
but have you heard this song Fly, and can you hear the angels??
He explains the story behind it on his webpage, and also how that same night a boy who had attended that worship saw two angels amongst the band on stage, roughly about the same time they were heard on the song.

Let me know if you have heard it and WHAT CONFERENCE IS THIS?? I want to go!!

That tells you everything you should want to know speakers location and junk. Jason Upton isnt going to be there hes at in my town the same time their having that conference but they have some other really awesome people.

Jason Upton is my VERY favorite artist ever!!!! I have heard the song ''fly'' the ''angels'' sound and offley lot like a sound affect they actual use on one of the clips on their website (3rd worship clip, 4 minutes into it and again at like 6,15, in the kansas worship section). its actually not a sound affect its a sea rock being blown into. It is one of my favorite songs ever but angels, I dunno? His new stuff is AWESOME!!!! A lot of it is on the website not on cds yet but its totally powerful. Specially, Just a bird, daddy dont sleep, and not looking over, and not alone. all those songs are on his website but arent on cds yet, they are freakin awesome!!!

Just kidding....I only heard about Jason Upton at work, he rolled into town and we do work for Fresh Fire Ministries, so we got the chance to hear his stuff. No words to explain. Just good stuff.
He has a website...so I don't know if I can post a link to his site on here , I don't know if I would be in violation of any rules( Breetai says " Sigh* heather, get with the program!) but ______.com ( enter his name there!) and you will see!

Doxa is just a local worship band in Abbotsford.

Who are all of these people that you guys are talking about? Are they singers or something of that nature? I have no idea, for I am lost in my strange and facinating world of acedemia and Newfoundland lobsters.

Christian ''Celebirtys''. I'm not a fan of most all preachers on tv or christian singers or even most worship music day (geez, can you say sale out?! i mean come on!!! worship gets popular then all of a sudden everyone wants to be a worship artest people who said they dont even want to be a christian artest cough amy ----- the list goes on shes not the only one but its really just **** if you asked me.

Not my problem oh well. Anyways those people are a combo of singers, preachers, prophet peoples, evangelists, mostly like i said ''christian celebirtys''. I dislike most of that kinda stuff those kinda movements. but JASON UPTON ROCKS!!! Not just the music mostly the person.
