Where do you get your news? (newspaper, tv, radio, online?)

I don't "do" news much anymore. I used to have a routine of watching it in the morning with coffee before the kids got up.
Before that, I "had" to read the paper. I just burnt out of both. I prefer to stay in my own little world, and my friends call me and say, "Guess what?"

What is one of your favorite "spare time" activities (i.e. reading, gardening, watching tv)?

Doing this, and reading. Oh, you said one. Working out is my fave.

If you're a tv watcher, which do you prefer - reality tv (Survivor, American Idol), sitcoms (no examples - don't watch them), dramas (L&O, CSI) or how to (i.e. HGTV, Food Network)? Or do you watch the older shows (Cosby, MASH, Bonanza) on Nick at Nite and/or TV Land?

Cartoons, or animated shows. Sports. AFHM. Sometimes look at sitcoms, but not much. Once in a great while I catch a movie, but I don't set my schedule around anything.

OK, this I have to look up; I'll answer it in a few.....

What do you eat for breakfast?

Rice cereal or oatmeal with lo-fat vanilly soy milk. Oh, yeah, and coffee; w/cream!!!!

Do you wake up crabby or happy in the morning?

Both. I tend to not be very talkative before coffee, and I am stiff and sometimes I did not get enough sleep, but I always look forward to a new day.

Thanks for asking for only 2. This won't be so hard; I have a hard time finding things *I* think are good, so let me try:
1) I will say that I have a strong gift of empathy. I do feel peoples' pain, and it pains me. I can put myself in other's shoes, and look out of their eyes quite frequently.

2) I love very hard. I love my family very much, my friends more than they will ever know, and my other half will get loved probably more than he can stand. If I say "I love you," I mean it. I spread myself thin btwn. my friends and my family, though, and I have to be more cautious about that.

I used to get told it was my legs or my eyes...*blush*
But getting older and being nearsighted; lol~~
Now, I get told it's my hair most of the time.
It is so thick I go thru a bottle of conditioner each week, tho', so *sigh*....
My hunny says it's the part that he can give me a spanking on...hehehe.....!!! (He won't though, so no one worry!!!)

Um, I go thru seasons with this...used to be bears; gave most of them away.
Now, maybe crystal items;
Angels, but I am not fanatical.
Crosses; I would like to get more of them.
Stuff with roses on 'em; got lots of things roses.

Cannot go into detail but things my dad had said in the time before he died.

And things my special friends tell me I ought to know about myself; that *I* don't see, and they let me know that I am better than I believe myself to be.

I will answer this backwards; yes, I do read some stuff over again, esp. if there is something new to learn from it.

Right now, there are quite a few books on my bedside table, but none of them have got my interest.
I have not been to the library in a few weeks, having marathon read back in the fall, and now I am going thru a magazine kick again.
I have Fitness and a few good Christian marriage mags by my bedside and a Reader's Digest or two.

Walking is number one, but I have to be alone or with someone I can talk to, or I'll talk to God usually; number two I'll listen to music. I have a lot of stress and I really don't handle it very well, TBH.

(since I am, I thought I'd just ask...)

Just to sleep. I don't mind having my kids around, if they are doing well, and quiet, but I like to just rest and have peace and quiet most of all. Don't really know if I prefer it that way, or if I just am accustomed to it; I have never really had anyone since my mom take care of me, or help me when I was sick; I have always basically done it myself, and as a mom, you know, many times to have to be taking care of someone else at the same time.
