CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
Xbox vs.PS2 vs. Gamecube: Who is the best?

I personally prefer Xbox - graphics are terrific and the games are some of the best ever in terms of ground-breaking series' and the like.
I'll admit however I haven't played much GC or PS2 but I really didn't like either when I did play them.
As for the people who say "if I wanted to play on a PC, I'd get a PC" when talking about a Box... you need to understand how game consoles work. They are all computers... Xbox isn't a PC either... PC = personal computer (ie - you can write and work on it) Xbox is simply a gaming platform... stop calling it a PC.

I would defintinely go with the Gamecube because there alot diverse games on the system and I have one i got it since my birthday. And the games i have is Mario Party 4, Pac-Man Double Pack, and Sonic Mega Collection. The next games I'm hoping to get is Mario Party 5, Super Mario Sunshine, or Mario Kart: Double Dash. I've played the ps2 once and It's my brothers and It's okay It also have alot of cool games like Tomb Raider and the Simspons. And the X-box let's not go there. That's all I have to say.

The Xbox blows the rest out of the water though it s games lack were as GCN (my second favorite) has the best exclusive games and the PS2 (my least favorite, does have a variety).
Xbox has better:Graphics, Speed, CPU, Duribility, and it comes with a mp3 player, cd burner, cd player, DVD (Sold seperately), and kareoke machine (also sold seperately).

XBOX all the way for me.
For one) Halo and soon to be Halo 2 (Yay)
Two) The controller is way more comforable to me. Not the original big one though. It has to be the small one. The big one cramps my hands trying to reach the black and white buttons. I despise the PS2 controller and the Cube controller also.
Three) This has been said before, but the cube does seem a bit more of a kiddy console.
Four) The graphics on the PS2 are inferior to the XBOX's and the PS2's loading time for a lot of games is very annoying.

I actually like most Mario and Zelda games, and you are right, there are "kiddy" games on everysystem, I actually heard that Xbox has more "Early Childhood" rated games then the Cube.

The games are kiddy. There shown in a kiddy manor (graphics are a big thing), but this doesn't exactly mean that they are well suited for a child. These games are hard, Viewtifull Joe is a perfect example of that.
But does it make them inferior in any way? No, it doesn't. Its a way to represent games. And there doing a great job of it.

True, but the term "kiddy games" in itself can be considered an insult since it sounds durgatory, I prefer calling them "games for everyone" which they are very much so, I'm 20 and love my Game Cube.

well id say GCN y it has animel corrsing and AC is 100%replay so you can do it for a like 678 days..well i playd it for that long and im stel playing it.
ps it is not a kity game my Mom plays it i play it and som pepel at game stors play it so the pepel i knowe hu play it are 7 to 60 so it is not a kity game.

I prefer the gamecube, because of the high-quality Nintendo games that it has. As the saying goes: don't judge a book by its cover. Their games may seem silly and childish at first glance, but actually they're more deepful, inspiring, and beautiful than that. Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing . . . just to name a few.

my personal preference is ps2 just because of the multitude of games.. but i also love the xbox. and the gamecube does have its good points (but not a personal fav of mine, i will never buy one)
