DH could really use some prayers for guidance and I desperately need them for some family drama with extended members. My ability to show Christ through me is being tested to the MAX!

Hey all, I'm back. (AGAIN) I'm sorry I kept disappearing on you all, but mostly it was stuff that couldn't be avoided. (LOTS of trips to MI) I've been praying for you all, and I hope you are all walking close to the Lord right now.

Today is my sister's 18th birthday! (random)







God bless you all! I love you all and am praying for you all.

So, what's going on in your lives? Anything new? More of the same? What?

The reason why I was making that trip to MI last week was that we were having a graduation thing for me and my sister (Homeschool graduation). It was really neat. And, I ended up getting like $300! That's about all that's happened lately for me.

Thank you for the prayers everyone. And yes Criada, just as you've stated God will/has been using me through this. It's kind of neat, kind of not. DH is a wavering believer, so my ability (and at times... inability) to remain loving and compassionate about it is really intriging him.

I'm also under intense scrutiny from dh's family due to their denominational choice which they insist upon thrusting onto me. So it's been interesting in that aspect too.

Oh trust me I'd love to go into details, but really it wouldn't be very graceful of me to do so.

You know wolfman, the last time I knew a wife who wasn't "feeling well"... well... there was a mighty good reason for the *flu like symptoms*.

Things are slowly piecing together with all the family drama. I'd say either before the week is over, or within a week the icing for the cake will have been made. Then things will be extremely interesting.

I'm glad to hear she's been diagnosed. Can they do anything to alleviate the discomfort?

Is she coughing alot? I'm thinking that sounds similar to what I had several years ago. I had horrible chest congestion and was coughing like mad. The pain was so intense I really insisted and believed I was having a heart attack, but it was just bruising all around from the violent coughing fits.

Yes, you may dare ask. But I don't know if I should dare type it. lol DH's family is strict, hardcore, old school Catholics-- a whole different drama in itself. I could list all the nasty and horrible things that have been said to me as a result, but I'll just let your minds take over. And FYI: we're only "methodist" by default of our church membership. It's the only church dh, the children and myself have really embraced, grown in and truly enjoy.

Ahhh, I feel so out of the loop. It was really hard to keep up with you all when I was so busy. I know what it's like for all of you now, always having something that needs doing. Hopefully everything will slow down for a while now. I'm praying for everyone of you. God bless!

How sweet a caregiver! That takes a heart of gold and muscles of steel to do.

Let's see she probably has NA following her name with maybe a C or a G infront of it, when really she could qualify for LPN or RN if NA's were allowed to be grandfathered in.

She probably can't hear statements and terms such as: "with good results" without thinking of it's most common use in the medical field.

She also cannot see acronyms and immediately think what society does such as TP-- not toilet paper-- turning & positioning, SOB-- shortness of breath, etc.

Talking about the human anatomy, illnesses, disease-- not to mention signs and symptoms doesn't bother her. And she probably frequently forgets to not talk like that in a public restaurant. I worked as one for years.

Please extend a belated National NA Week to her.

Ahhh, I feel so out of the loop. It was really hard to keep up with you all when I was so busy. I know what it's like for all of you now, always having something that needs doing. Hopefully everything will slow down for a while now. I'm praying for everyone of you. God bless!
