I was dreaming about being in hellfire. there were two closed doors. on the other side of one I heard screaming and the door was shaking, and locked. Whoever was inside couldn't get out. I was in hell too and had to pick between being caught on fire or drowning. I chose drowning because I thought it was less painful. I thought there has got to be a way out. Then a voice said, "You told them you were a seer. You got their hopes up. Well since you told them that, tell them this. My wrath is coming against the entire world." After I agreed to say that, I was able to get out through another door.

Here is what your dream means:
You basically feel like you're going through hell in life.
God is giving you two choices (doors symbolize opportunities & choices)
Choice #1 is to go through the refining fire and be set free from whatever is tormenting you.
Choice #2 is to drown in depression and be stuck there forever (symbolized by the locked door with person screaming)
It always looks easier to stay where we are & be overcome with depression than it does to let God burn stuff off of us.
The "world" represents pain in prophetic symbolism - And so God is telling you that when you're tired of the depression, He is going to come and burn away your pain with His refining fire (yes He is going to do this for you because He knows what is best and healthy for you & He longs to set you free). He wants you to accept this message - By "telling them" what He says, you are actually telling yourself. Your heavenly Papa is also telling you that you are called to be a SEER (a type of prophet) -- Your hopes will not be crushed if you allow Papa to do this work in your heart. Invite Him in to help you, heal your heart, and minister to you precious, He loves you very much - Let Him in. There is a great calling on your life and you will minister to others as a result of this.

Do you also see how God forgives you, will restore you (and your self image) and how He is lovingly reaching out to you through these posts from His children? He has moved across muliple people here to speak words of forgiveness and love to you. You see...He really does know you and love you. He also does, in reality, have a divine gifting and purpose for your life, and maybe you could spend more time discovering what that really is and then seek confirmation from the elders of your church so that you remain safely on the right path.

Orangeness, Jesus took God's wrath upon Himself so you don't have to bear it. Of course the world won't be judged for YOUR sins, they will be judged for their own.

I'm sorry that what someone said about God's wrath being about you was the only thing you grasped onto, Orangeness, which fed your already formed idea that God is mad at you. That is very sad! The rest of us have all told you that God forgives you readily. He is not mad at you. His wrath is not coming against you if you confess your sins to Him and make Him Lord of your life. He wants to give you life...abundant life! Please, please let Him do so!

Since we have established that the dream is not from God, discard it..and simply accept His love and restoration.

Have you ever heard of the saying that there were two men in jail sharing the same cell and the same single window in that cell. When they look out that same window, one sees stars and the other sees mud. Look up sister and see those stars and know that your heavenly Father is watching over you. .

For the record Orangeness, I never meant to make you feel as though you were being condemned if that was how you interpreted my comment. I was in a state of some panic when I had written the comment, and I too am feeling as if I am in a very dark place with God right now. But, it was never my intention to make you feel guilty or rejected.
I had wondered late last night and a bit this morning if I had been a stumbling block by saying what I said. At least, I felt God was saying so.

But, I am legitimately concerned about coming wrath and warnings. I just should have been careful about how I had said it and if it was what God wanted me to say.

I don't want you to feel like God is angry with you. Everyone is right, God loves you and that was what I was intending to bring with the second half of my comment.
Again, I apologize. I have the tendency to be very irrational and I panic quite easily, but I still should have stopped to think about your situation. God knows what He's doing in your life and I need to trust the same for His work in me. C:

For the record, Orangeness, I believe this was a dream directly from God to your heart to show you, as MP said, that you have two choices, life or spiritual death. Choose Life! I believe you should take the message from this dream that God is very concerned about you, He cares, and His love for you is a forever-kind of love. Let Him love you. You deserve to be loved because you are created in His image. Praying blessings, peace, and joy over you today and every day.

Thursday morning I read this passage in Ezekiel 13 and thought of your dream.

The word of the Lord came to me: 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who are now prophesying. Say to those who prophesy out of their own imagination: ‘Hear the word of the Lord! 3 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing! 4 Your prophets, Israel, are like jackals among ruins. 5 You have not gone up to the breaches in the wall to repair it for the people of Israel so that it will stand firm in the battle on the day of the Lord. 6 Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. Even though the Lord has not sent them, they say, “The Lord declares,” and expect him to fulfill their words. 7 Have you not seen false visions and uttered lying divinations when you say, “The Lord declares,” though I have not spoken?

8 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign Lord. 9 My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. 10 “‘Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, 11 therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth. 12 When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, “Where is the whitewash you covered it with?”

13 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury. 14 I will tear down the wall you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation will be laid bare. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own? 19 You have profaned me among my people for a few handfuls of barley and scraps of bread. By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live.

20 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against your magic charms with which you ensnare people like birds and I will tear them from your arms; I will set free the people that you ensnare like birds. 21 I will tear off your veils and save my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your power. Then you will know that I am the Lord.
22 Because you disheartened the righteous with your lies, when I had brought them no grief, and because you encouraged the wicked not to turn from their evil ways and so save their lives, 23 therefore you will no longer see false visions or practice divination. I will save my people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

I was praying through some things on Thursday and was journaling my thoughts. Then, I asked the Lord, "What's next?" Then, I began reading this passage and when I got to verse 11, it really jumped out at me, because that is exactly what was happening across the eastern half of the USA yesterday, and it was heading our direction at the time.

That aside, what stood out to me from this passage in relation to your dream and what the Lord, apparently, was showing you in your dream, was that you were a seer who was giving false messages, apparently of peace, and you were only set free from your torment when you gave messages of the coming wrath of God.

In most all cases in scripture, the false prophets were those who gave messages of peace and safety when the true prophets of God were giving messages of coming judgment. The false prophets were putting Band-Aids over serious sin and were "whitewashing" the truth so that people didn't feel so badly when they sinned. So, the people of God were not prepared to stand firm against the enemy in spiritual warfare, and they were not prepared to stand firm in their faith on the day God comes to judge the people of this earth.

The false prophets did not preach repentance of sin and obedience to God and his commands and thus turn people from their evil ways and thus save their lives. And, this is happening today when those who share the gospel choose to or fail to tell people the true cost of following Christ and the necessity of dying to our old lives of sin and of choosing to walk in faithful obedience to Jesus Christ (see Luke 9:23-25; Eph. 4:17-24; Rom. 6, Gal. 2:20, et al). While it is true that we are saved by grace and not of our own works, that does not negate the Biblical requirements for salvation of repentance and obedience (not perfection, but a yielding of our lives to Christ in allowing his Spirit within us to transform us and to make us new creatures in Christ Jesus).

It was a long time ago. I thought I could see the future in dreams. I said stuff like I knew my hometown wouldn't set on fire during a really long fire because of a dream I had. I only posted it after the fact. Most of them were about dreams that I thought came true later. I also thought I saw the tsunami in Japan, although I thought it would happen in just off the coast of calfornia, and that the atomic radiation would be a bomb instead of a nuclear reactor. I didn't post that many, but enough to be a false prophet, which I'm sorry for, but maybe not sorry enough. I just wanted to believe that I could see the future so badly.
