Today there is just as much need for it, Sweden is very much IT,

The bible does not say anything about something being inserted under your skin, then it would be hidden from view and therefore not a mark. It says quite specifically those who have woshipped the beast, or his image, or taken his mark. I don't think that this will be something which you can take without understanding what it is that you are taking. Also taking the mark of the beast is clearly a volentary act. Always a good thing to check exactly what the bible says for yourself.

Christ's bride is going to be raptured and won't be here, during the reign of the antichrist and the beast, so no beast, no mark of the beast. At this time, speculating about the mark of the beast is pointless. If you are one of those who loves His appearing, you are going to be raptured out of here and being present at the marriage of the Lamb. Sigh... My next door neighbor from Columbia doesnt have one. My son's godmother lives in Russia and doesnt have one. My HS classmate who is now a Japanese citizen doesnt have a SSN.

it depends on the context. I wouldn't deny my faith to get a microchip under my skin but since that isn't going on then I don't have a problem with it. However, for me, it's a bit superfluous so I won't get it because I have no cause to get it.

Besides, you're not using your computer for work, you're using it to talk on CForums.

A smartphone is just a computer, phone and camera together. We had all those things since the 1980s. Phones and cameras we've had since the turn of the last century, so I don't see the big deal. In a little while, I am going to a bonfire at my church so I still enjoy the quiet life. Smartphones aren't bad, it's when they become addictive that there presents a problem, like everything else.
