I'm not quite sure what you are wanting. Evidence they are trying to court favor with the president or proof that Trump "hates EVs?" As for proposals and actions by Trump that he "hates" EVs -- he has ordered all government EV charging stations closed, something estimated to cost the government $1 billion. He allegedly also has plans to sell all government owned EVs and, since many are fairly new, it is estimated that will cost another $225 million. Trump had also blocked funds, previously authorized for payment to the states, for building EV charging stations along major highways.
Beyond that, Trump's Big Beautiful Bill has some interesting things. First, since Trump can't get legislation through to change or remove CAFE fuel economy standards, the bill will remove any penalties for automakers whose lineup does not meet the standards. Next, he is not only removing all of the incentives towards purchasing EVs, he is also adding a $250 annual tax on the registration of EVs nationwide. While ostensibly this is to get EV owners are no longer paying the national gasoline tax -- the issue is that $250 is over double what the average car pays, which is under $94 per year.
