Or in a local golf course?
Will Ivana help Donald Trump with tax breaks from beyond the grave?

Serious questions, by the way. Would you?
Do I get some tax deduction?

Wild beasts? Does Jesus know we've been outside the food chain for basically a century or two?
Not unheard of.

In places like India yes. You don’t even feel the bites of kraits and most people don't even know they have been bitten till its too late to get anti venom. Many people who work in fields are too far away to receive the anti venom in time even if they leave for the hospital immediately. India supposedly has more than 50k deaths per year according to this article.

My tentative plan is to exploit a loop hole in state law(we’ll not so much a loophole as a it hasn’t come up often enough or ever so no one wrote a law about it) and have my remains burned on an open pyre with whatever is left afterwards turned into the soil of my garden.

You prefer the dumpster technique?
Cremation or donation to science, or if it must be burial, then in a simple wood box, no embalming, let the body decompose into the earth.

…or the Hunter S Thompson cannon method.

Cardboard and plant fiber coffins, too. Personally, if going with burial that's the way to go I think.
All these fancy coffins, especially metal ones, I just don't get the point. Unless you're planning on digging people up and moving them around...
There is a use for them...... preserving DNA for the future to find out if you are related to the deceased or are guilty/innocent of a crime there have been many bodies dug up to solve crimes doing autopsies or redoing them with better tech. Other than preserving DNA the cost of digging up and moving a casket vs tossing a bunch of bones in a cheap box to more a private cematary later could be considered.

Humans. I'm looking for thoughts on burying humans.

My condolences on the loss of your cat.
When I die, it doesn't matter to me, where I'm buried. I'm donor and except to be a sent to medical classes. And to be thrown out, when they are done with my body parts. Buring the dead is to please the family, not the dead. As for the back yard, when someone buys the property. They will want the buried body done. And will get rid of it. That's the problem with burring loved ones. In the back yard, unless it's ashes.
