CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You know, in Cleveland, they have "nominal time." That means if you call a meeting for 1 o'clock, you really mean 1:15 or 1:20. One o'clock is the time you expect everyone to leave their office to go to the meeting! Then they get there whenever they get there and you start the meeting when everyone getst there!

I thought 3 o'clock was a better time than 2 o'clock for this meeting. So I took it upon myself to come at that time. I know you won't mind...

While I was at school trying to retake a math test I got an F on, someone came by and gave me a summons for jury duty. I was upset when I left the school. About halfway home I remembered the appointment, so I sped up to get home sooner to get ready. I was pulled over by a cop, but luckily I had some fresh donuts in the car. We shared the donuts and the cop gave me some math pointers. By the time he let me go, it was already time for my appointment.

I was working on setting up a training facility for paintball enthusiasts. You can hide in really long grass you know, so I have to grow my grass so people can hide in it easily.
