That is of course assuming that what the Catholic Church says is sin..is actually what God thinks is sin. I mean bibically I donlt personally think there is much evidence God considered MB to be a grave sin.

I follow the rules of the RCC, but you can't argue from the Catechism of the RCC in mixed company and it takes it off topic anyway.

I offer my apologies to all those whose faith does not forbid masturbation. It is just that as a Catholic I am obligated to correct my brethren when they are wrong.

I am sure you have heard the scripture that says to take it to the church if he does not listen...

"If your brother sins (against you), go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother.

Pornography has been displayed in public places for thousands of years in various parts of the world. The conversation was about how pornography and masturbation were prevalent in modern times due to internet pornography and TV. I was saying that it's nothing new.
