This video, in my estimation, was poorly constructed.

The comments don't fit.

Arguing that Homo sapiens (my parents) gave rise to a Homo sapiens (me) is the same as in the video, arguing that Triticum aestivum (wheat) gave rise to Triticum aestivum (winter wheat); but then Dan goes on to say that creationists have to make excuses for evolution to go away, when, in fact, they don't.

Evolution = observed phenomena, the ToE explains how it works (see gravity and the theory of gravity).

Oh, dear.

Dan didn't mention that in his video.

Or if he did, I missed it.

So winter wheat is a product of artificial selection?
"Genetic modification offers precise manipulation of characteristics by changing or deleting genes, or inserting new genes from other organisms. This allows the inclusion of desirable traits in the genome of a cultivated plant without other less desirable traits that might be introduced. For more information on Wheat Genomic research, see the follow the link to the Research page."

Now this is from a site that mentions evolution but there's this strange unproven conclusion that because a plant shares dna with other plants, they both had a common ancestor.

"If one assumes that mutations occur at a relatively constant rate, these differences can be used as a molecular clock with which to measure evolutionary time. Using such phylogenetic approaches it has been deduced that wheat shared a common ancestor with rice approximately 40 to 54 million years BC. More distantly in time, between 45 and 60 million years BC, there would have been a common ancestor of wheat/rice and sorghum."

And whether you accept this or not, our current wheat is a result of genetic manipulation by humans playing God so to speak.

Common ancestry is a conclusion from the data (facts) not an assumption.

Try to learn the basics.

I like to use Ray Comfort's banana video to point out that, even though Ray was wrong in saying that God created the banana we eat during the Creation Week, the video does demonstrate that God gave us men who were able to hybridize that banana into an edible delicacy for our consumption.

Ditto for wheat then.

God is good!

Evolution = observed phenomena, the ToE explains how it works (see gravity and the theory of gravity).
Do you see creationists having to make excuses for gravity to go away?

I don't.

Why would they make excuses to make Same-Binomial-To-Same-Binomial evolution go away, as the video is saying they do?

After all, I'm a product of my parents, and according to evolution teaching, that would be Same-Binomial-To-Same-Binomial evolution.

Evolution philosophy? What is that?

It evolved. QV my change.
Evolution teaching, heh, no, thats not a thing.

Evolution is an observed phenomena, ie a fact.

Theory of evolution is an scientific theory that explains all the facts regarding evolution.

Learn what "proven" means, then learn what conclusion from the data means.

Then take a biology 101.

Then you can try to make an argument.
Nothing but boring insults from you still.

A person can take the same data and arrive at a different conclusion. Adaptation: a physical trait or behavior due to inherited characteristics that gives an organism the ability to survive in a given environment.
The diverse plants were there from the start. Algae didn't evolve into redwood trees.

Thanks for the QED.

You really dont understand science.

You really dont understand science.
There's one atheist poster here who has asked for proof, and not a peep from the academic elite.

But let one of us mention it, and we don't understand science.

Go figure.
