I have 3 of those 4 . God's designs are so inscrutable. I've been through similar feelings before, many times. All we can rely on is that his strength is made perfect in weakness, and that you are exactly as he desires you to be. When/where/how that will be proven is still a mystery. But our Lord knows exactly why he did what he did. I pray for your peace, strength, comfort, and assurance. Christ's blessings, friend.

Embrace it! There are a LOT of awesome things about INTJ's. All of the different types have their downfalls and weaknesses. If you're into personality theory, just be aware of them and you can use that knowledge to improve yourself and even use it to your advantage rather than feeling like you're failing. Each type faces different challenges, so you're not alone

And for what its worth, INTJ is basically one of my favorite types Its a type that I almost never fail to get along with.

you know those personality tests aren't supposed to be taken as unbreakable defining labels, right? They just give you a starting point to understand who you are a bit better. And they can and do change over time.

Maybe stop focusing so much inward on those qualities you dislike. If you're comparing yourself to others, you need to stop that. Both will only lead to further misery and over analyticalness (yes I just created a word.). You are who you are, find a way to be happy with that.

I used to sometimes think that's how God felt about me. He loved me because He has to, ya know, like He loves everyone, but that doesn't mean He likes me.

But that's not true.

God likes us. He takes joy in us. God enjoys diversity. He takes pleasure in making us all different, with unique personalities, no two exactly alike.

Those personality tests can never measure or quantify the diversity of humanity. Don't put so much stock in them. They're rough, oversimplified observations. They don't capture the essence of you. And they certainly shouldn't be used to pigeon-hole anyone.

You make it sound like being an INTJ is a bad thing. I'm one- we are extremely objective. While our personalities are rare, we tend to be the most brilliant (having creativity and logic). You just have to learn to work with it and recognize our view of everyone else.

My career search teacher told us that those letters can change, and there were several people in the class who had changed, and I know some other people who have changed one or several of those letters.
