Yeah and if you say it to me that way, ie cruelly- it means I give you the finger and disregard everything else you have to say to me from that time forward--until you actually act like you give crap about me more than you worry about maintaining your moral high ground.
Interestingly I am pretty open to correction- knowing I am one messed up gal--but if you correct me out of any sense of superiority--we're done. Because to me that is a completely hypocritical position. Correct me because you want me to be the best me I can be--do not correct me because I don't fit in with your world view and you either a.) don't like me or b.) I make you uncomfortable. If you don't have empathy or at least sympathy for me--your correction will not only be ignored--but is likely to be an occasion of sin.

some folks just want to live in a bubble and think what they do is all good... sometimes we have to pop that bubble and it's for their own good.
ppl get upset because they don't want to hear that they are doing wrong. they don't want their world to be upset, their boat to be rocked, they don't want their rug to be pulled form their feet. They want to go on and think all's well.
Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. Folks don't like it but they need to hear it.
well little dude, it's not a bright comment. But I think you should be allowed to say it. I said stupider things loud and clear to my priests in h.s. and thankfully they prayed for me instead of banning me from the school.Ouch, MS. Almost hurt my feelings there.![]()
