So you'd rather have untreated HIV over treated HIV? You'd rather have smallpox? You'd rather have no plumbing and no clean water? You'd rather have Type I diabetics die during adolescence? You'd rather have every inflamed appendix end in death?
And none of which -- in my opinion -- have a thing to do with macroevolution.

Then what is the mechanism which makes HIV so virulent? Errant prayers to Allah? God's loving and merciful hand? Evolution?

Which is one of many reasons that your opinion is utterly worthless, and should be treated as such whenever you choose to take it out in public.

It's the same science. Your problem is with the scientific method, which is ill-placed considering how much you've benefited from it.

You have to remember that trial and error is a huge part of the scientific method -- Since creationists imagine themselves in God's image (and vice versa), the notion of making an error terrifies them.

As someone who is not an American and does not live in the US I agree with the creationists and think it's only fair that ALL American children should be taught creationism and/or ID in the school science class, from my and most non-US citizens perspective the less Americans working in the sciences the better it will be for university graduates from the rest of the world, the US already employ more foreign nationals in their science based businesses than most other 'Developed' countries in the world so continuing the educational decline in the US can only be good for them, religious fundamentalism in the US is a very good thing and should be encouraged further.

Creationist tend not too travel very far from home so they shouldn't have a detrimental effect on the rest of the world [apart from it's soldiers, and they go in groups and come home in groups]

Creationists must hate the US because it seems they can't wait to drag it down, [do creationists know there are other countries in the world? China has 4 times the population of the US and just about as many who can speak English] the creation museum is a laughing stock throughout the world [for those who know about that is, and some who know about it won't believe it]

Creationists should keep at it because if they are persistent they will win in the end, of course the US will lose but hey! it's a free country.

The same thing that keeps us having to buy stronger Roundup each year -- tougher weeds due to adaptation to the previous Roundup.

Without looking this up... I'm guessing this is somehow related to the Challenger? Possibly the astronauts?

You do realise that he is right?

Yes, but it hurts. I don't want to live in stupid land!!!

I move that we Americans try to establish a sort of creationist reservation territory.... Though I think that might just already be everything south of the Mason Dixon.

My choice is this place. Nice and hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter: It goes well with the prayer: "Yea though I walketh through the valley of the shadow of death ........."

Indeed, and that phenomenon is called evolution.
