I can't believe that in a Christian forum this would even be brought up!!!
Women go topless in some of the more primitive areas of the world. The idea that exposure to naked breasts diminishes sexual activity is not supported by their population numbers. Anyone who has National Geographic has seen these breasts--most are not a pretty sight. Past a certain age gravity takes over. Obviously, I doubt very much anyone here is fighting for 80 year old women to have the freedom to go topless in public. Breasts on women are considered sexual organs, but not on men. Why, then stop at topless? You want equality of exposure, then the nether regions are more appropriate for the exposure of sexuality. The male breasts are not considered sexually erotic--the whole chest area is more erotic to women--hence the 6-pack is sought after, not men with enlarged breasts.
Just wondering how many men are so very anxious to go parading their privates--most don't have much to brag about anyway. Is anyone wanting to see naked 80 year old men also?? Now, to another 80 year old, that may be ok, but how many 25 year old ladies are interested?? How many men are willing to be compared to another?
If the first thing Adam and Eve did when they realized they were naked was to cover up with leafs, why, as Christians, esp., are we wanting to uncover?--Of course, they did have far more fully operational brains, having been made perfect in the first place, so they had far more sense than we do, but they were still stupid enough to listen to Satan instead of God. Thy at least, had the excuse of being ignorant and deceived. We are wanting to flaunt nakedness with our eyes wide open, deceiving ourselves into thinking it would be acceptable in God's eyes. One of Satan's greatest abilities is maneuvering us into lying to ourselves.
