Why Salvation is finished and completed.

Let me show you something about your salvation that perhaps you have not been shown.

Its like this...

So, what is proven in the Garden of Eden?

What did Adam and Eve PROVE?
They proved that their sinless condition, upon being created, was lost by them just as soon as the very first temptation came their way.
IT TOOK ONLY ONE.
They were sinless, created in the image of God to be so, and they LOST IT, they lost their "sinlessness"....when they were tempted ONCE to do so.

So, God saw them do it, and knew it before they would do it.

Now, YOU are saved by Grace.
This is God redeeming you, (GRACE) not based on you, but based on a CROSS and a Bloody SAVIOR nailed to it who died on it for YOU.

So, Now.... this "born again" state that you have become, in SPIRIT, is exactly the same as Adam who was originally created "sinless".
Your are born again, and have been given God's righteousness., as the "gift of righteousness".
Now ask yourself....Would God put you in the same (temptation) situation as Adam, after what Christ had to suffer, just so you could lose it again, just like Adam lost it? ?
REALLY !!!!!!!!!! ?????????????
Or would God only offer "Christ EARNED Salvation" so that once He gave it to you, He would keep it for you so that YOU DONT BLOW IT !! ?? !!

Redemption is ETERNAL GRACE once its APPLIED TO YOU, its permanent GRACE, as its based on JESUS and not you,.... as you would mess it up, you would mess it up, you would mess it up... just like Adam, and GOD KNOWS THIS ABOUT THE HUMAN RACE, and that is why He didnt create SALVATION as a situation that you could mess up and lose, based on your thinking or your behavior.
GOD IS WAY TOO SMART FOR THAT!

You know, there's a reason why the Bible exhorts us to rightly "divide" the word of truth. When you divide, nothing get's left out. It's simply put in a clear, reasonable order.

You know you're dealing with a bad doctrine when it requires "subtracting" the word of truth, meaning you must leave out large swaths of scripture which seemingly appear irreconcilable to those who are not workmen who show themselves approved.

Salvation is referenced in past, present, and future tenses throughout the New Testament for a reason. Because salvation isn't a point in time, like the work of the cross was, salvation is life! And that life can only be found in Christ.

Salvation, if one were to lay it out in practical terms, would look like this:

Starts: Belief and repentance leading to being born again (justification by Jesus' work of the cross). Nothing else can get us access to Father God but Jesus' righteousness. We wear it like a robe of righteousness. When we pray to Father God, by faith, in Jesus' name, He receives us as His own.

Continues: We grow and mature in the knowledge of God as we walk out our faith. Studying His word, praying, fellowshiping with other believers, and growing up enough to walk out our ministry calling are all practical components to this life in Christ. This is why Jesus explained we must "abide" in Him. If we do not abide, we have no life:

John 15:4
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

If you're born again, you will have the desire to abide, but let's not be foolish. If we're not careful, the cares of the world, or the deceitfulness of riches, or the influence of worldly people around us can draw us away from following Jesus. This is what Jesus and Paul referred to as "falling away." That's why Jesus warned us with the Parable of the Sower:

Matthew 13:1-9
1 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2 Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

Jesus explains latter in that chapter exactly what this means:

18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

We are not expected to be sinless, rather we are expected to be humble, teachable, and willing to learn His ways. This is what is known as repentance. Yes, repentance can be a one time act if we recognize we're doing something that is not in accordance with God's will, we should turn from it. But in a relationship, repentance is an attitude of humility where we recognize we need to honor God in our life.

There's always grace if we stumble, but we should be wise in this spiritual war. Christians should not be wandering off into wanton sin that defies God's plain standards within the Bible.

Finally: As we continue to walk out our faith, we will eventually will be blessed with a glorified body upon Jesus' return. At this point, we will no longer have to deal with our flesh vessels as these ones will be without a fallen nature.

Salvation is preset tense continuous because life is present-tense continuous. Abide in Christ, and no matter if you stumble, get back up and keep moving forward trusting Jesus' righteousness.

And do not presume to continue in wicked practices that clearly defy God's standard for living and conduct. Sexual immorality, greediness, among other things, are a sure sign you are not interested in abiding in the truth, as the truth always helps us recognize our need for Jesus to help us live a life worthy of His namesake.

Certainly a seeker will grow in understanding and faithfulness in their walk with God and holding His Word, but salvation is very present to one who receives the Savior.

Yes, there are certainly those who believe in God, and who are not "born again" (John 3) by faith in the Lord Jesus.

James 2:19 has the demons aware that Jesus is Son of God. And they tremble in fear. Knowing that he is the Son of God and the Lamb for redemption does not mean that knowledge is efficacious. They remain as demons knowing who Jesus is.

If people were able to work their salvation out for themselves and enter into God's Grace by their will and behavior, Jesus would have never been born. Because God would have made an allowance for that human act.

• John 8:29, "And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him."
• John 6:39, "This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day."
