Intelligent Design and Guided Evolution are two different things.Intelligent design is correct. Random mutations are inadequate to explain the various lifeforms.
Only on paper. All available evidence would say otherwise.
Oh, please.HitchSlap said:(Your racist comment is duly noted.)
Creationism + need to get it textbooks = IDEven we creationists aren't susceptible to doing the Devil's work; as I've demonstrated before with Nimrod.
Other well-known creationists are Mohammad and Joseph Smith.
Creationism + Science = Intelligent Design
We never heard of Intelligent Design until someone threw science into the pot.
Tares among the wheat.
Also in reality.Only on paper.
Don't change your behavior on my account. Just letting you know I know.Oh, please.
Should I have called it:
- Chinese Whispers? (still racist)
- the Grapevine? (anti-botanist)
- the Telephone Game? (anti-technology)
- Retrospective Falsification? (too sciency)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but ID is an attempt to get creationism into a SCIENCE textbook, is it not?Creationism + need to get it textbooks = ID
Do you also know your "racist" accusation was a cheap shot and uncalled for?Just letting you know I know.
You're right. ID was concocted by the Discovery Institute as a Trojan Horse to sneak biblical creationism into the public schools.Correct me if I'm wrong, but ID is an attempt to get creationism into a SCIENCE textbook, is it not?
And they got what they deserved, didn't they? You're right. ID was concocted by the Discovery Institute as a Trojan Horse to sneak biblical creationism into the public schools.
Yes... sounds familiar... where have I seen this before? Oh yeah,Do you also know your "racist" accusation was a cheap shot and uncalled for?
Then maybe you should get out more often and look around.
That is standard doctrine.
Were you raised in a church?
I'm guessing not, but if so, were you a church kid or a bus kid?
I'll guess bus kid.
No. There is no way to harmonize the creation account with science. Period. There is no firmament. The earth is not flat, etc. Certainly the writer had no concept of modern science.I take it you're a proponent of the Day-Age Theory?
Then how come Darwinists quoting the writings of other Darwinists as truth is OK?Do you not understand that posting Bible verses as your source for verifying that the Bible is correct is fallacious?
This is pure ignorance. The bible has undergone the same process as every other ancient book we have. There is nothing special about the bible, and is best understood as written; i.e. allegory, fable, metaphor and revisionist history of the Jews.
So are you saying that agreement with your interpretation of Genesis is necessary for salvation? This is pure ignorance.
There is no other book or books equivalent to the 66 books of "The Bible"
I see sadly from the ongoing blogging in this thread that many simply choose death
over life.
It is true what Jesus said faith and belief are of the heart (the inner person).
There are many ancient writings that are immensely more enjoyable and relevant to our human existence. I see no reason to elevate the bible over any other ancient text. It's just one of many available existing ancient writings. This is pure ignorance.

Thank you for your blessing.I wish you all the success in the world.
It's certainly not my intention to build on (or tear down) a brother's foundation.
Intelligent design can be used in the context of both the origin of life and ongoing evolution. Wikipedia, for example, mentions natural selection. A common example of intelligent design in operation is the complex features of the human eye.Intelligent Design and Guided Evolution are two different things.
Evolution deals with life -- after it has been kick-started into operation.
