I think you meant to say phrase, but I rather hope it is just a phase, one that will pass in time.
Since it [Intelligent Design] came from the Devil, I suspect it's going to be around for awhile.

What has any of that to do with the truth of God's word?

What is the evidence that God's word is true?
Genesis 1 is a direct challenge by God against all other myths, legends, beliefs, and false sciences.

Was the challenge successful?

Doesn't look like it to me.

Then wait until Christmas [holidays] and go to church [edifices] and sing Christmas carols [songs] before you read the Christmas story [literature], if it's empirical evidence you want.
That’s not evidence for your claim, that’s evidence there are more people like you. Seems to me you all just need something to help you sleep at night.

ID came from creationists. I’ve already corrected you once, chief.

Creationism > cdesign proponentsists > ID

Creationism in a cheap tuxedo.

I are with orders from headquarters not to listen to vain denials and to give answers of the hope that is within me primarily from the word of God.
That’s some standard cult brainwashing if I’ve ever seen it. Circular reasoning is vain.

Men wrote the Bible, and all we have are copies of copies of copies of fragments.
Yup.

That's called "entropy".

But if you think the entropy of the Bible* is greater than zero, then that's called "science".

Even we creationists are susceptible to doing the Devil's work; as I've demonstrated before with Nimrod.

Other well-known creationists are Mohammad and Joseph Smith.

Creationism + Science = Intelligent Design

We never heard of Intelligent Design until someone threw science into the pot.

Then maybe you should get out more often and look around.

That is standard doctrine.

Were you raised in a church?

I'm guessing not, but if so, were you a church kid or a bus kid?

I'll guess bus kid.

Kinda like science validating science, isn't it?

God did not create the universe with science.
Of course God didn't use science to create the universe; rather, he created the universe capable of being understood via science. And he created the laws of nature, the laws of physics, which guide and control the universe.

God also created the spiritual realm and all the spiritual creatures in it. For example, God creates a human soul at the moment of conception and joins it up to the zygote. The soul is able to receive sense data processed by the brain, and send commands of the will back to the body via the brain to activate muscle movement.

Speaking of that, when did He create the law of conservation of mass/energy?

I say it was when He rested on the seventh day. What say you?

When did He create the second law of thermodynamics?

I say it came as a result of the Fall. What say you?

We can sow seeds though, can't we?
I doubt you are persuading atheists to become Christians by insisting on creationism. Using my approach has, I think, a better chance of success.

I wholeheartedly embrace modern science with its assumption of materialism. This assumption of materialism means anything non-material is, by definition, outside of science.

And I reject materialism.

No, it's not called entropy. Stop with the 'fake news,' it makes you look dishonest.

The bible has undergone the same process as every other ancient book we have. There is nothing special about the bible, and is best understood as written; i.e. allegory, fable, metaphor and revisionist history of the Jews.

When he created the universe that operated with this law.

We are still in day 7.
When did He create the second law of thermodynamics?
When he created the universe that operated with this law.

Nonsense. These kinds of events at the fall would result in the need for rapid evolution after the fall as saber-toothed tigers suddenly grew teeth and became carnivores (for example).

if it's Intelligent Design, it's wrong.
Intelligent design is correct. Random mutations are inadequate to explain the various lifeforms. The random events of evolution are actually guided, but without violating the laws of quantum mechanics.

I wish you all the success in the world.

It's certainly not my intention to build on (or tear down) a brother's foundation.

No, it's not called entropy.
Yes, actually, it is.

Shannon Entropy, to be exact.

While the parchment may crumble away, the message gets transmitted without error to another source.

The Bible is not a product of Arab phoning.

All available evidence would say otherwise.
