Hi again Dennis, I'm not a mod on this forum, though one of our mods could move your OP & thread if you think it should be on another board.

I am a new Christian and lots of this talk confuses me. I'm a pretty literal person so when someone says "bread" I'm thinking of a loaf of bread like you buy at the grocery store..?
And then in another thread someone said that God wants me to die. I was like "well then.. that's beautiful to know" haha. I assume God doesn't want me literally dead but he's talking about change and transformation in a metaphorical sense? Or at least I hope so!

Hi, Thanks for your thoughts. Jesus said that bread was his body and this video looks at what bread is in terms of it is made from something could have lived its own life but gave up that life so that we could live. It's a deep topic but well worth the time to think it through
