He that believes into the Son has life age-lasting (life to the end of this present evil age).

They will not perish in their mortal bodies but shall continue to live in this age unto the redemption of their mortal bodies at the end where at the last trump their mortal bodies are changed into immortal. They will not experience mortal death.

“Everlasting” = Greek: AIONION = age-lasting

He that believes not the Son shall not see this age-lasting life but will perish in the mortal body by the wrath of God who is a consuming fire that destroys the body.

They will “perish” ….experience mortal death. They suffer loss of the mortal body but will be resurrected at the last trump and given a body that God determines to give them. But they miss out on the "age-lasting" life to be had now in this mortal body where they would have continued to live to the end of this present age. They experience "age-lasting" punishment as they miss out.

John 3:36
(36) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life (AGE-LASTING life): and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Young's Literal Translation
he who is believing in the Son, hath life age-during; and he who is not believing the Son, shall not see life, but the wrath of God doth remain upon him.'

The word “AIONION” has been mistranslated by the “sleight of men” with a view toward the “systemization” of deceit. They have mistranslated the words of the Bible with a view toward their own erroneous church organizations’ teachings that lead to the death of the mortal body. They preach their covenant with death. We must "die and go to Heaven" according to their teaching of their covenant with death.... completely missing the point of having an age-lasting life in this mortal body.

Eph 4:14 KJV
(14) That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Darby
14 in order that we may be no longer babes, tossed and carried about by every wind of that teaching which is in the sleight of men, in unprincipled cunning with a view to systematized error;

This is the promise that He has promised us: age-lasting life.

This is not about “dying and going to Heaven” as universally preached by the erroneous church “system” but instead about abiding here in this earth unto the redemption of our mortal bodies at the end of this present evil age.

1Jn 2:
(25) And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

Young's Literal Translation
and this is the promise that He did promise us -- the life the age-during

We hear the Word of truth, the good news of our salvation and believe. We are sealed with the Holy Spirit of THE promise of an age-lasting life in this mortal body unto the redemption of the “purchased possession”. The age-lasting preserved possession of this mortal body then puts on immortality. .

Eph 1:13-14 KJV
(13) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

(14) Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

With the Holy Spirit, we are to mortify the deeds of the body so that this mortal body is given life….an age-lasting life unto the redemption of this mortal body when this mortal puts on immortality. We MUST slay the deeds of the body with the Spirit so that this mortal body abides here in this earth. If we continue to live after the flesh (even after given His Spirit), our mortal bodies shall die. We will not receive the age-lasting life but will perish from this earth.

Rom 8:10-14 KJV
(10) And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
(11) But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
(12) Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
(13) For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

(14) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

If we endure here in this earth unto the end of this age, we shall experience the redemption of the mortal body as it will be transformed into immortal.

Rom 8:23 KJV
(23) And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

The life which we live NOW IN THE FLESH is by Christ who lives in us. Our faith of the Son of God keeps our mortal bodies alive until the redemption of the mortal body.
Gal 2:20 KJV
(20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

To those who by patient continuance in well doing seek those future things: glory and honour and immortality. We endure until the end of this age (having an age-lasting life) by well doing and we receive immortality at the end. We do not die in this mortal body as we keep the “daily” sacrifice of our Lord which keeps us alive until then.

Rom 2:7 KJV
(7) To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life (age-lasting life)

We shall continue to live in this earth with an age-lasting life until we are “changed” at the end of this age: this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Those who have perished in their mortal bodies will be resurrected then.

1Co 15:51-57 KJV
(51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
(52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
(53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

(54) So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
(55) O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
(56) The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
(57) But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

This mortal body (which is always subject to death but is preserved alive by faith in Christ who lives in us) shall be redeemed as this mortality will then be swallowed up of life....immortality.

2Co 5:2-4 KJV
(2) For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
(3) If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
(4)
For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

No Bible text says that the wicked have "immortal life" or "eternal life". The Bible only grants that to saints as even John 3:16 points out.

The Bible speaks of 'mortal man' in a number of places.
Yet in 1 Cor 15 we find that at the resurrection of the saints (what John calls the "first resurrection") -- 'This mortal will put on immortality"

2 Cor 5:1-2 says that in this life - we have a mortal "decaying" tent as a body.

1 John 3:15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

Compared to

John 3:15 that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Matt 10:28 "do not fear those who KILL the BODY - but cannot kill the soul - rather fear Him who is able to DESTROY BOTH body and soul in fiery hell"

Christ teaches the fact that we call can see - the body does die.

1 Cor 15 says that the body that is resurrected is not connected in any way to the body that dies. (So then saints thrown to the lions, burned at the stake, ashes tossed into the river, cast into the oceans eaten by fish etc -- does not matter).

The Word of God is clear ... we are not immortal in any way .... possibility of two deaths .... earthly and then death for eternity ... those in the Lord will not experience eternal death ... rather eternal life. It's simple to understand.

We don't become immortal until Jesus returns and the first resurrection occurs.

We are mortal (subject to death) ... there are 2 deaths ... earthly (temporal) 2nd death is for eternity. Those in Christ will not experience the second death.

Death is death folks .... cease to exist ... those in Christ will receive eternal life ... those not .... death for eternity (cease to exist forever)

What did God say?

Genesis 2:17 God tells Adam regarding the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, “in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die.”

Believe God.
