Thank you for demonstrating your lack of understanding of Water Baptism. Jesus does everything on the Sacraments, including Baptism.According to Jesus, regeneration (Jn 3:3-5) is a sovereign act of the Holy Spirit, as unaccountable as the wind (Jn 3:6-8), and dependent on nothing man does, including baptism.
Scriptural proof. . .starting with the word "sacrament" in the original (Greek) texts.Thank you for demonstrating your lack of understanding of Water Baptism. Jesus does everything on the Sacraments, including Baptism.
You'll understand if I decide to follow Christ and the close to 2,000 years of His Church's consistent teaching rather than some self proclaimed scripture expertYour "sacraments" are extra-Biblical doctrine not found in the NT.
As I'm sure you'll understand if I do not accept what cannot be found in the word of God written and only in the teachings of man.You'll understand if I decide to follow Christ and the close to 2,000 years of His Church's consistent teaching rather than some self proclaimed scripture expert
Im not here to bash anyone. But i have a question. Why do I need Catholicism, EO, or any church who claims to be the true church? I know the Lord's commands and i dont need the doctrines of catholicism or other churches. So why does anyone need it? Doesn’t it only divide us? Shouldn't we take a more simplistic approach in order to have one mind in Christ?
Can i rebuke your church for their politics and wealth? If not then please don't expect me to hear your church's preaching.Heb 10:24 and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works;
Heb 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh.
Nobody that is a true born again Christian is ever an island unto themselves. We are the body of Christ that is still in this sinful world, hence why we need to assemble ourselves together at times to sort of recharge and cleanse. The sprinkling of the blood of Jesus is only there when we assemble together.
I'm not telling you to associate with an assembly that you don't agree with, but I am telling to you to find one that you can begin to connect with GOD more in worship. The benefits outweigh the negatives.
What do you mean by your question, exactly? Are you asking why you need a body to correct you, to support you, and to worship with? What do you mean by a "simplistic approach", exactly?Im not here to bash anyone. But i have a question. Why do I need Catholicism, EO, or any church who claims to be the true church? Thanks for asking. First let me say that I'm suggesting that my faith is enough. I hope others will agree and see that their faith isn't the only way. Maybe they will see that the things that divide them are unnecessary. After all I dont have those things and my faith is enough. I know this wont happen but I can't help but try.What do you mean by your question, exactly? Are you asking why you need a body to correct you, to support you, and to worship with? Faith in what? And how did you come by this faith?Thanks for asking. First let me say that I'm suggesting that my faith is enough. That sounds an awful lot like divisive theology. How do we determine the extent of Jesus' commands without delving into the theological issues?To get to your question. The simplistic approach is to agree on the Lord's commands and forget the divisive theology. Instead of debating the same old issues that never get resolved, put religion on a diet. Keep it simple. If we can't agree on Jesus commands and forget divisive things, then what's the point?
Ok. Go ahead and debate the same old issues without resolve. It seems pointless to me. My faith is in Jesus and his word. In don't need man's theology because I have the holy spirit.Faith in what? And how did you come by this faith?

That sounds like more divisive theology, do you think that you and you alone have the Holy Spirit? That God's church as a body lacks the guidance of the Spirit?Ok. In the last days the church will be full of false doctrine and people will flock to teachers to tickle their ears. Scripture said so. I have no divisions against God. I gave up politics and I obey Jesus. I have no theological arguments learned in man's school. These arguments generate strife. I just follow the good teaching of Jesus.That sounds like more divisive theology, do you think that you and you alone have the Holy Spirit? And how did you get that Scripture? How was the Bible you read compiled, how was its canon formed, how was it translated from the original languages?In the last days the church will be full of false doctrine and people will flock to teachers to tickle their ears. There is a dead church in revelation and it's not me.Lol, what I had to say just went right over you head didn't it?
Scripture tells us to assemble with others. If you want to die on the vine, then ignore what I say. Have a nice day.
The Pharisees and scribes gave me the Old Testament and the apostles gave me the new. I would never follow the Pharisees though.And how did you get that Scripture? How was the Bible you read compiled, how was its canon formed, how was it translated from the original languages?
You seem to be stating some pretty divisive theology setting yourself against other Christians as if your understanding is perfect and you have no need of teachers and pastors. You complain about division, while hypocritically cutting yourself off from the body of Christ as if you are an island.
Seems you're missing a few in between. And did Jesus not say to do what the Pharisees say?The Pharisees and scribes gave me the Old Testament and the apostles gave me the new. I would never follow the Pharisees though.
He said do as they say but not as they do because they're hypocrites. But that doesn't mean I should obey false doctrine or join a church that doesn't train its people to follow Jesus. Jesus said not to worry about our life yet Republicans and democrats in the church fight over the economy. They complain and sow fear. The church shepherds see no problem with that. Well i do.Seems you're missing a few in between. And did Jesus not say to do what the Pharisees say?
