Why is my faith not enough?

Im not here to bash anyone. But i have a question. Why do I need Catholicism, EO, or any church who claims to be the true church? I know the Lord's commands and i dont need the doctrines of catholicism or other churches. So why does anyone need it? Doesn’t it only divide us? Shouldn't we take a more simplistic approach in order to have one mind in Christ?

Everyone needs some guidance. It can be dangerous to go it alone. Dangerous to your soul.

I dont want to get into an argument about certain religions.

I know why i am a Catholic.

Do some good, long research. Pray about your concerns. I hope you see the light that you desire.

Jesus didnt tell the people to go off and get on with things on their own. No, He sent out His Apostles to preach, teach and guide.

My guidance came from my doctor and counselor. They gave me better advice than anyone else. But I follow the word and spirit. That's my guide. I tell my doctor that. I give Jesus credit for me being able to cope

I quote scripture that agrees with my doctors advice. Like I'm told not to think negative thoughts and scripture says to think about what is good and lovely. I tell them prayer helps me. This is what the church should be. A bunch of counselors. People need that instead of contentions over flawed theology that we don't even need.
